Are you going to edit it so that it's correct?
Shenandoah's SID graciously agreed to make the correction and it is now reflected in the statistics.
Will your recap also be edited so that it becomes correct ... and consistent with the corrected stats?
It's been correct for over 24 hours now
But http://hscathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2014-15/releases/20141122isl5nq still says that Murray stole the ball that was actually stolen by Hargrove.  Maybe I'm missing something ...

Hampden-Sydney doing surprisingly well early in the season, with  a starting lineup that includes a freshman and a transfer sophomore.  I'm also surprised by the strong play of Lynchburg!

Link mentions Leon as one who got ball first.  From the playback video, you cannot tell who got the ball first but the ball was passed to Mike on the run.  What a moment when the ball went straight up higher than the backboard and then stripped the net. You could hear a voice on the video saying "oh no". Coach Vick might have had a flashback.  When he was playing at HSC, HSC was down by one with 5 seconds or so to go. Do not remember who it was against.  Dee Vick was closely guarding the inbound player.  When he threw it in, Dee jumped up and caught the ball and  came down surprised as everyone was.  He immediately went back up and shot a jump shot for the one point win. He has passed that talent along - never give up!!  Strong freshman class so it appears with good height.  Hope Coach Vick can get them all experienced ASAP as the ODAC appears strong again this year with 4-6 teams or more winning on any given night against each other.

Oh, I see what you're talking about in the first paragraph, but the 5th paragraph is still incorrect.

Great story about Dee!  I'm impressed with the freshmen tall men ... and remembering how much better some of our big guys got over the course of their careers (Jirak, Brooks, Thompson, and Williamson, for example)!

Agree about 5th paragraph.  Writer at time still so excited that error occurred. Remember who the "tall" men mentor will be also.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend.

RMC (3-2) dropped a 76-67 game to Frostburg State (3-2) today in Ashland ... not the season start the Jackets were hoping for heading into ODAC play Wednesday versus VWC.

They didn't look very good today. Another abysmal free throw shooting performance and got out rebounded. Unlike the game against CNU, better free throw shooting might not have won this one. I stopped watching with 3+ minutes left and the Jackets trailing by 13. Not an insurmountable deficit at that point, but the way R-MC was playing it felt like a sure loss. Hoping it was just a bad day.  Frostburg State was 3-22 last year

^ yeah, it was hard to watch.  Not sure what happened with the Jackets (besides turnovers & not hitting the FT's which never helps!) but Frostburg State didn't look like a 3-22 team yesterday.

Hoping R-MC can regroup & get it together for 2 tough ODAC contests ahead this week.

How about wearing the Marlins out on Wednesday before they hit Guilford's Ragan-Brown Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon!  lol

2RMCFans

^ THAT would be great!  Hope they'll help your Quakers out tonight.  Truth to tell, at least one team is likely to be tired at the end of this game.

Late start of 8:00 pm must mean there is a 6:00 women's game at VWC?  Odd, but hopefully the Jackets will benefit from an extra hour of practice!

Good luck to all around the ODAC this week.

GO JACKETS!!!

Tiger Mic

Good win for HSC over a good Roanoke team.  Daniel Eacho was a little off his game tonight and the young Tiger post players defended him well.  Carter Wright and Andrew Daniels can really shoot for Roanoke,  but Mike Murray was clutch again down the stretch.  71 to 67 HSC in a game of runs.

I didn't get to watch much of the R-MC/VWC game tonight, but a look at the box score shows that the R-MC bench outscored the VWC bench 20-2. VWC seems to rely a lot on good 3 point shooting and it wasn't there tonight. VWC only played eight men the whole game while for R-MC 11 players saw action, although one was only in for one minute. Could the Marlins have a depth problem?

Guilford improves to 5-1 with a 72-64 win over Methodist (2-4) in Fayetteville, NC Wednesday night.

Not at the game, but looks like the R-MC defense was more effective last night.  That's very good news with undefeated Lynchburg headed to Ashland this Sat.

Congrats to all the winners & good luck for the weekend & the holidays.
