Royals move to 11-4 (4-2) after going two OTs to win over H-SC.  Marcel Crump went OFF for 33 points, more than doubling his average for the year.  Just as importantly he hit every single FT in the past two games.  http://www.emuroyals.com/sports/mbkb/2014-15/releases/20150117fy1s8y

I have not seen HSC play this year but the result of the last two games have surprised me; I suspected RMC would win but not in a blow out and I thought we would beat EMU on our home court. Hopefully better results coming soon. Got to win those home games in a conference as tough as the ODAC.

Reality, I believe, has arrived.  H-SC started the season strong but the ODAC is also very, very strong. Both the RMC and EM games saw experienced Seniors vs. Newly Arrived Players from H-SC (9 new guys this year) and guess who won.  The size, speed, and experience sure won out in a big way.  H-SC led in three games with 15 seconds to go and lost - that is experience or lack of talking.  But guess what - all that builds for the future and H-SC's guys will come together.

Yes, time & experience will teach them.  With no disrespect intended, in the R-MC win it was a Newly Arrived Player (Fr. Mike Silverthorn) who really put the screws to the Tigers up there.  Taking nothing away from our junior and seniors, we couldn't be prouder of the way the freshmen (6) & sophomores (4 w/1 out for the season injured) are playing into the program.

Good luck to all for the Wed. night games.

GO JACKETS!!!!

You are right. Silverthorn will be a player to follow for the next four years.  His three or four 3's in the first few minutes set the tone for the entire game.  I am sure that RMC alumni eyes were getting bigger and bigger every time he touched the ball.  Great find for RMC.

^^ We cannot say enough good things about the current R-MC Baseball program, 1982.  Hope your son picks us!

If yelling will help get the win tonight, we'll sure be doing it.  Sorry you have to miss it in person.  Sounds like a full house is expected.

HSCDad -- your postings are always so positive.  We really appreciate & respect that.  It sets a good example for all to follow.

GO JACKETS!!!!

Hopfully the jackets handle the ball better in the second half.

Great video feed. Great game. Great win for the Jackets. So glad Jordan Snipes didn't rebound the missed free throw. :)

Nice win by RMC tonight. Pretty impressed with the level of talent. While I've not been as close to the league over the last several years, I'd have to say that there appears to be more talent and depth @ RMC than existed in the late Nunnally years and Rhoades era. Hats off to Coach Davis! VWC played hard and almost pulled off the comeback. Talented as well, but don't appear to have the horses RMC has (or the # of them).
