Are they going to sanitize the ball every time that HSC touches it?

Guilford trails E&H at the half, 34-32, in Emory.  Perhaps even more painful is hearing the student announcers repeatedly referring to Guilford College as Lynchburg College.  lol

Guilford up 75-72 in OT at Emory.  Matt McCarthy showing why he'll be 1st team All-ODAC by almost single-handedly pulling Guilford from a 12- point deficit to tie in the last four minutes of regulation.

RMC survives a poor shooting night, road ODAC wins are tough.

Wow!  Matt McCarthy with 44 and Jonny Rice 28 as Guilford survives 91-88 in double OT at Emory & Henry.  The Quakers trailed 66-54 with about 4 minutes to go, but McCarthy brought them back to tie at 70 in regulation.  What a game!

Just checked the box score:

McCarthy 16/29  7/16 3FG and 5/5 on FT
Rice 14/22

I believe Lynchburg just beat Roanoke 103-101 in 2OT.

W&L wears down a severely depleted HSC team to pick up a win. Second half was a tough go for the unhealthy Tigers

Well, Guilford and Lynchburg BOTH won in double-OT - no wonder they were confused! ;D

HSCDad

Was sad to watch W&L win against HSC - stomach virus really got them.  But W&L won by their efforts and especially on foul line with 23 out of 25. Watch out for Murtha - will be force as only a freshman for W&L.  W&L also had some great blind passes that I wish that I could have seen replay. HSC  guys really ran out of steam in 2nd half but were gutsy.  Duncan had good night at 26 points but rest of team was slowly drained as game continued. One starter (Owens) didn't even make trip and Murray did not play until about half way thru first half. You got to take what is given and there will be another day.

Still can't get over how many close games EMU has been in!  Their 3 ODAC losses are by a combines 4 points.  All of their losses (5) are by a combined 10 points.  Crazy
How many have you won by similar margins?
Two one point, one two point and one four point, I think

H-SC has completely shut down outside of health services and the dining hall thru the weekend with at least 300 students having contracted the virus in less than 48 hours, that's right at 25% of our student body. Home game vs. E&H on Saturday has been postponed with makeup date TBD.

Thankfully I am not sick so I abandoned ship and left town as soon as it was announced!

Uh, no.  Why can't a virus run through campus before we play you in football?  All kidding aside, sounds as though the college made a wise decisison.  Hope the campus recovers quickly.
