Heard Bridgewater hired RMC assistant Shawn Postiglione as its head coach. Spent time as an assistant at CNU before coming to Macon last year

Any rumors on the R-MC job? Little shocked at the Bridgewater hire thought they would of gone for someone with little more coaching experience.

Interesting indeed! Post will be a great coach. I know him personally and he is an outstanding individual with a great work ethic and his hoops brain is amazing!!

Given Nathan Davis' track record, If Davis says he is as good of an assistant as he has ever been around then he must be a pretty good coach. Quality head coaches surround themselves with quality assistant coaches. More experience doesn't equal better quality.

Good hire by BC, was even thinking he'd get a look by RMC.  So, RMC loses HC and top assistant, they better be moving quickly to get a hire announced and shore up the current players and recruits.

RMC has three finalists, two current HCs and one alum:

Just finished reading what I could find about all three candidates. All sound good, but one stands out to me over the others. Having said that, there is way more I don't know. I'm sure the AD & others involved in the choice will get it right.

McAloon was my early choice (see comments last week  ^^^.)  He knows Macon, knows the prep landscape, would excite the alums.

Hopefully they don't pick McAloon because he scares me the most of the three candidates. He is the obvious as it seems, just wish H-SC could pull in coaches like that.

Merkel it is for RMC.  Good Luck...carry on the strong tradition of excellence.

Great choice by RMC!!!   The more I heard about Josh over the last few days, the more it become obviously the best choice.
