^ we've long been big fans of Moore & he is having a stellar season. After seeing Midulla and Noe (and Nowell & Adams) in just a couple of games we felt they would all be a big part of the Jackets' future.  Will be very happy to see Silverthorn get well & off the bench... hopefully soon.  Keeping turnovers low (9) again has to be a very big factor in this win as well.

Kind of a shocking day in the ODAC with that Bridgewater win & a close Shenandoah win over Randolph in OT.

The ODAC never disappoints for drama, yes?

GO JACKETS!!!!

Great win for VWC today on the road, wiping out the disappointment of the loss a couple days earlier...win was good enough to push VWC into first place alone in the ODAC and rekindle the confidence to continue a strong finish to the regular season...Moore was the man against the Maroons, pumping in 31 points!  Roanoke's days among the top 20 have probably ended with back-to-back losses to Randolph and VWC...the Maroons are 3-3 in their last six games

Quakers can't handle prosperity ... letting a late game 59-51 margin over the Generals turn into OT at 62 all ... thankfully, if you're a Guilford fan, they pulled out an eventual 3 point win, 71-68.  W&L has some athletes ... somewhat surprised they are 3-6 in the ODAC and frankly, considering the many close games, that the Quakers are 6-3.

Guilford women are 16-2, 101-1 with a home victory over the Gennies, giving Coach Flamini her 200th win with the Quakers.  Congratulations!

Looks that again ODAC without a top-25 team, Roanoke drops out.  Another interesting note, no UWisconsin-whatever team in top 25 either, that doesn't happen often.

First time in 16 years no WIAC team has been ranked or receiving points.

I'll be at another gym out here in the midwest, but following the score on my phone and sending telepathic support.  :)

Forgive me if this is a repeat post, but it appears the 1st attempt failed:
HSC radio team salutes LC for a good road ODAC win.  The Hornets played the game very well tonight.

It's clear from the second half box score what happened at R-MC last night. After leading by 12 at the half BC out rebounds the Jackets 25-8 and the Jackets get zero offensive boards. A rough night at the free throw line for R-MC didn't help matters. Put it in the past and move on to the next game.

Guilford had Roanoke on the ropes, but poor FT and 3FG (2 of 12) shooting did in the Quakers.  GC up 34-27 at the half, 46-31 in 2nd and 61-57 in last minute, but 10 of 22 FTs (including missing the front end of two key one and ones) did them in.  Finally, GC did not get off a shot with the ball and 20 seconds to go ... an ignominious end to a 64-62 loss.  Kudos to the Maroons for staying focused and not conceding.  Sigh.

Montese Adams and Darryl Williams don't play against EMU today. Hope they're okay.

Looks like EMU has now won a couple close ones after all the close but no cigar losses.  Maybe it IS the uniforms :-)  http://www.emuroyals.com/sports/mbkb/2015-16/releases/20160206xnyslc
