RMC gives up 14 offensive rebounds and 42 points in the paint, won't beat anyone with those numbers.  But, not all is lost today, HSC loses as well.

I noticed that rebounding disparity in the box score as well. Saw some of the game but missed what was probably the most critical portion (the first 5-6 minutes of the 2nd half). Went to do a little work on taxes at halftime, lost track of time and when I got back to the game a 7 point lead had turned into a six point deficit. Given the rebounding discrepancy and the fact that the Jackets gave up 52 points in the 2nd half I'd say they played quite well otherwise to have a chance at the end of the game. Just couldn't pull it out.

In case you haven't noticed HSC is losing Almost everytime they take the court these days. I think it is now 6 in a row, the longest losing string I can remember. Hope they can breaK that string this Wednesday nite vs. your Jackets !!!

The way these two teams are playing, I'm not sure either team deserves to win on Wednesday.  In their last 5 games, they are a combined 1-9.  Not sure that's ever happened before?

I attended the RMC at GC game on Saturday afternoon in Greensboro.  It was a well-played, competitive game.  Randolph-Macon has some outside shooters.  Finally, the Quakers hit some clutch FTs down the stretch!  Congratulations to lone GC senior Will Freeman, who topped his previous career-high of 21 when he scored 22 in what may be his last game in Ragan-Brown.  If the Quakers can remain in the top 4, they'll avoid a first-round tournament game.  If they drop to seeds 5 through 8, however, then one more home game would be in the offing.  Go Quakers!

Probably has not happened. I did not realize the 2 teams are 1-9 in the last 10 games. Probably not much interst in the game on Wed. I have it on my schedule but will probably not attend.

Looks like R-MC is on a downward slide. Hope things can turn around next year.

When you lose eight seniors from the prior season (6-7 of whom were significant contributors to the success that season), lose your head coach, and return only one senior you can't expect to have the same success in the new season. I think all the ingredients are in place for many successful seasons in the coming years.

hope you are correct y_jack_lok.

One thing lacking this season was depth at point guard. Only one legitimate person for that position, who did a great job. That situation can be remedied. I think CMR mentioned above a need for more size in the low post. Some other teams in the conference might be stronger in that area, but I think the Jackets competed pretty well down low for the most part.

Super win for the Quakers at VWC tonight, 71-60.  Put a lock on Top 4 finish and first round bye.  Surprising rebound margin also.  Finally, what a crazy game at LC, with Hornets getting a double OT 160-156 win over the RC Maroons.

A much needed rivalry win for HSC last night.  Tigers got off to a hot srart, led by 20 at the half, and held on for a comfortable win.  RMC just didn't have it last night.  HSC was due.  7 wins in the league  (so far) for the Jackets is impressive considering all they lost from last year's team.  Coach Vick inserted Fr. Jake Hackworth into the game early.  He had played 10 min all season.  Scored 8 points in the first half.  It's never dull in the ODAC!

I would love to know who owns the tiebreakers if certain teams finished tied in the standings.

Wow, what a game between Lynchburg and Roanoke...nice win, hasa.
