Glad you have a b'ball program that is still competitive. HSC has not enjoyed that for awhile. Hoping Tigers improve this year but I know nothing about the rooster/season expectations.
Thanks.  Wishing we could be consistently good in all sports, but glad for men's and women's hoops and golf.

Here is the season preview for EMU http://www.emuroyals.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/releases/20171110fr15ec and the Roster http://www.emuroyals.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/roster

Very informative write up. EMU always has great quickness and speed, can wear out opponents and catch them napping at any moment. Gotta be alert when playing them. I expect ODAC hoops to be like ODAC football has been this season -- anything can happen in any game.

In what is an exhibition for Lynchburg but a regular season game for D1 Norfolk State, Lynchburg wins 83-80, overcoming a 10 point halftime deficit.

Nice win for Lynchburg...I'm expecting a close, hard fought game tomorrow night in Ashland when CNU comes to town.  Obviously, I hope the Captains win, but am concerned about the Jackets pulling off a mild upset...should be a good one!

GO CAPS!

Guilford opens its season downtown tomorrow night at Greensboro.  I'm sure it will be SRO and the Pride fans will be vocal.  Go Quakers!

It was SRO, it was loud and it was tight, but the Quakers pulled away at the end to win 98-88.  Marcus Curry carried the day in the second half in my opinion.

It WAS close and hard fought. A game R-MC could, and probably should, have won. Missed opportunities on critical offensive possessions kept that from happening. Congrats to CNU.

Probably should have won?  Nah, it was a very competitive, back and forth type of game, particularly in the second half...that said, neither team had a significant advantage and it could have gone either way.  Fortunately for CNU, they were able to pull it out...good luck the rest of the season.

^^^Yeah, maybe "should have won" is unrealistic.

Greek Tragedy

They should have won because Carter played about 5 minutes and McFarland didn't play at all, from what I've read. A missed opportunity for RMC on their home floor.
