That was fsst -- two weeks since Postiglione resigned.

Hiring an Assistant from within or bringing back Don Burgess from Harrisonburg High? I guess we will soon find out.

Steve Enright, a VMI Assistant Coach (who was an Associate Head Coach at Bridgewater until June of 2018) is the new men's hoops coach at Bridgewater.

Obviously have no idea how he'll end up being as a head coach but seems like that is about as good as they would have been able to get given the timing. Should be a much more seamless transition given he has only been away from BC for a year.

For anyone interested I saw this video of the BC announcement posted on twitter: https://youtu.be/2HXv7h32qGM

The first four minutes are the formal part, the last two minutes are a quick interview with Coach Enright.

Congrats to former Maroon Josh Freund who will now be playing in the Israeli Premier League next year.

R-MC beginning to introduce freshman players on Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/RMCHoops/status/1169341395364143107

Another one: https://mobile.twitter.com/RMCHoops/status/1171897603895808000

The third of four: https://mobile.twitter.com/RMCHoops/status/1174397263713591296

The fourth and final R-MC recruit: https://mobile.twitter.com/RMCHoops/status/1176868723128487937
Looks like RMC has picked up two additional recruits, a 6-6 and 6-3 forwards.  I'm assuming they're sophomore eligible, so must be transfers.  We'll see once an official roster is published.  If correct, then RMC will have the services of 7 new players, the 4 freshmen mentioned above, plus these two, plus James Nworah, a 6-6 sophomore forward that saw no action last year, often not dressing out (I assume for injury reasons).

I'm sure you are referring to Morgan McKay.  He entered the program in late December of last year.
HSC has posted a 2019-20 roster and Morgan McKay is not on the list.  Additionally, six other players left the program including McHale, Drew Scott, Salmons, and Zager.  Not surprising given a new coach and poor past team performance on the court.  Eight new additions, including 7 freshmen.  Good luck to the Tigers.

McHale, Zager, and McKay are relatively big losses. Really liked Zager's potential. Going to be a rough year regardless, hopefully the freshmen can step in and make a difference. Very little room to get worse though

Pre-season poll: https://www.odaconline.com/sports/mbkb/2019-20/releases/102419-mbkb-preseasonpoll

1) Guilford - 6 first place votes
2/3 - tie)  VWU - 4 first place votes; R-MC - 3 first place votes
4) Roanoke

Article says VWU has an E&H transfer -- Daniel Spencer.

Thanks for the heads-up, I actually was looking for the poll yesterday.  There seems to be no clear leader, and that seems right.  There are two tiers with a clear break between #6 and #7.  Looks like a typical ODAC season where most every game is competitive.  Looking forward to it!

Here is the EMU Preliminary Roster.  https://www.emuroyals.com/sports/mbkb/2019-20/roster
Newbies that looked promising from the snooping I did below
Deion Harwood from Goochland Career totals 1,256 points and 572 rebounds and made 80 percent of his free throws.
Alijah Ellis from the Fork Union Military Academy Post-Grad Team
Devin Mosley from Culpeper.  Last year averages 20 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals per game.
6'7" Josh Whelan from Fort Defiance looks to add height.
Good luck Runnin' Royals
