On a completely different topic, I have a small beef with RMC, maybe others can help me.  Seems that RMC doesn't archive their game videos or create on demand videos.  So, once the game is over, there is no way to go back and watch the game.  Am I looking in the wrong place or is this actually the case?  Most other schools have archived or on-demand options.  I wish RMC would adopt the Boxcast option, as this allows streaming via TV.  I will add however, that game coverage by Marty and Co. is the best around.  I contend they're one of the best I've heard in DIII.

I was worried about GC before and during the game.  GC has always been a tough out for RMC and vise versa.  But, if your top scorer has 2 points and #3 has 5 points, it's a very good win.  I have a different take on the 19th, I think the Jackets will have a better offensive game.  A couple of observations on the Jackets:  Talbert may not be 100% (only 5 points last night).  He wasn't in uniform in the previous game, not sure why.  Additionally, did anyone notice that he didn't play in the CNU loss?  May have made a difference in that game as well.  Also, sometime starter 6-6 soph Ben Cerrato has not participated in a game since December.  I hope he'll be back in the future.

The announcers indicated that Talbert might have tweaked his ankle at W&L. Definitely did not look 100% last night. And, yes, I was aware he didn't play at CNU. As to Anthony's game last night, the Quakers did a great job defending him and I thought he played very intelligently in not trying to force outside shots or drives to the hoop. His six turnovers were not typical. The entire team looked tired. I, too, have been wondering about Cerrato. Hope he's okay.

Totally agree on all comments.  Buzz knew it was not his night and good to see him not force it, he only took 5 attempts from the field.  Missed the comment about Talbert's ankle, thanks!  This is the time of the season where teams will be getting tired, more so with makeup games.  Key to RMC's success will be bench points, such as Coble last night and Morris at HSC.

Hasa- Your boys could have easily beaten us in Crenshaw, which is no small accomplishment!! I predict a more favorable result for your guys in Ragen-Brown, where we seem to ALWAYS struggle. Buzz didnt have his best game last night but someone else always seems to step up-last night is was Sophomore Will Coble, who rained a few 3's , and Miles Mallory had a big 2nd half in a game we could have easily lost. I was impressed with your Quakers! We get everyone's best shot, and last night was no different. Now we have a tough Roanoke team in Crenshaw tomorrow for Alumni Day!

Unfortunately I don't think you have anything to fear. I'll be happy if it's a 10 point game tomorrow.  Last game we played we lost to EMU  :P

^^^ Your pessimism not withstanding, the Maroons are a talented team that plays really tough defense. There is no reason for the Jackets or their fans to enter this game certain of a win.

Most teams only have 4-5 ODAC games left after today. There is just a one-game separation from 3rd to 8th place. There is as big a gap from 1st to 2nd than there is from 3rd to 9th.

Well, well, what do you know?  The video from yesterday is still available today!  In the past, the next game would be immediately staged at the conclusion of the current game.  So, I'm assuming the RC game will now be around until the next game starts.  MUCH BETTER!  Not sure if someone saw my previous post or if coincidence?  If so, thanks to whomever changed it.  Greatly appreciated!

Roanoke with a much needed win against Shenandoah last night 97-57.  This stops a 2 game losing streak for the Maroons. Roanoke has a tough test Saturday at Hampden Sydney.

Thanks.  I think if you check Buzz Anthony's career, some of his most difficult games have been against the Quakers.  We don't have great size, but we have some very athletic players.  Feb 19 should be a battle.

FYI   I was in a fairly serious automobile accident on January 29.  Believe it or not, I was struck in an intersection by a deputy sheriff's car on its way to an emergency call.  Both my vehicle and the squad car were totaled.  The two deputies walked away after their airbags deployed, but I suffered a fracture.  I had surgery on Feb 8 and now have two screws in my left ankle.  It will be a 6-8 week recovery, but I'll ultimately be ok.  Hope to see you guys at the ODAC tournament!
