Scottie...

No offense, but I hope your suit from the past two games is ready to go.  In fact, I'll hold on to for you so you don't lose it.  The two best games of the season does not mean but so much if you go 0-2.  Maybe if you're suit were different, the record would be.  That is, unless, you just play the games to have them be the best, not to win.

In all seriousness, the game Monday is very important.  As I have said before, it seems that it may be BC, E&H, LC, and W&L end up the four teams fighting for the last two spots.  I know W&L just sprang an upset, but sometimes that's not real good.  Remember last year when EMU started 5-2; teams started taking them seriously.  The same thing will happen, if it has not already, if the Generals get another win in the next few games.  The Eagles already have a win against W&L, and LC already has a win against E&H.  The games these teams play on their home floor are huge.

Yes, but the better you play the more likely you are to win. If you don't play good, you normally aren't going to win games. You should be able to understand that by now.

It looks like Lance Reasbeck has not played for E&H since the Christmas break.  Injury or not with the program?  When I looked at the VWC boxscore this morning, it appears that the statistician just gave up trying to calculate minutes played and just threw minutes on the first 5 players.  I can understand how that could happen.  Whatever happened to Reasbeck is a big loss to the Wasps.  I enjoy watching him play the game, but I thought the chuck and duck system did not bring out all facets of his game (or anybody else's for that matter.)

Scottie...

Thanks for the scoop.  I will now take into consideration that the better a team plays, the more likely it is they will win.  Did you learn all this just by being a manager?

Does anyone know what the deal is with Guilford? ??? They are struggling a lot after starting out hot with a 4-1 record and the margin of their loss to VWC is shocking considering that they went to OT against Macon yesterday. When's the last time Guilford has lost 7 straight games?? The past 3 seasons the longest losing streak had been just 3 games.

JWW,

I have exciting news! The LC men's bball team is going to go watch the globetrotters on thursday. Isn't Pete's teams traveling with the 'Trotters for that game??

Do I sense a bit of growing "confidence" in people's perception of the Hornbets chances of winning games?? I see a few people have picked us to win 2 games this week! Or is it that people think we match up well with our opponents this week?

Scottie,

I picked the Hornets because of their inspired play this week.  I think they can reel off a few W's.  That is if they come to the court with the same intensity.  But please don't try and jinx them with all your ramblings.
