Well, then VWC should have no problem "waxing" Lincoln on their home floor, since they barely beat CNU, right?  That CNU team VWC beat up on earlier in the year was a much different squad towards the end of the season.  I think the Marlins will be fine against Lincoln if they play to their potential.  In all honesty, if VWC doesn't make it to the Final Four, given their opponents, it would be a real failure in my mind.

Swish, do I sense some bitterness in this post?  True CNU was a different team then, but so too were the Marlins at that time in the year.  I disagree with the "failure" if VWC does not make it to the Final Four.  Farmingdale was a very good basketball team, maybe the top team the Marlins played all year and Lincoln is going to be just as tough if not tougher.  VWC has not played any pushovers and, IF, they get by Lincoln tonight, they will have defeated two teams with All Americans on them.  If the Marlins fall, there is no thought of a season of failure.  No one thought they would get this far back in November.

I thought they would get this far before the season even started. I knew that team was going to be loaded with talent and if they didnt make it this far, it was an underachievment in my estimation. I, as a CNU fan, hope Wesleyan takes care of business tonight, even tho Lincoln beat CNU twice with the last one knocking us out of the tournament, Im still routing for the best team, and I think that team is VWC and I hope they make it to the Elite 8. Ill talk about making it to the Final Four after they win, I hate getting ahead of myself.

Go Marlins, take it to the Lions.

hard to tell VWC  is leading...it seems the sportscasters are Myricks biggest fans but Brandaon Adair has matched  "the star"  of Lincoln!  Considering how badly VWC has played it's hard to believe they could possibly lead.  Yes I am being sarcastic. Go Marlins. and Yes, Myrick is a great player ....no doubt.Adair is no slouch tho.

What a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen a lot of basketball games.  That was one of the best.  2 of the best players in the nation taking control and then watching the role players step up to make the difference in the end.  The Tank was wild and the atmosphere was absolutely electric.  LU fans chanted "This is our house" with 2 minutes to go.  They found out whose house it truly was and is.  Great season and great game Lincoln.  Congrats on a stellar season and game Myrick.  GO MARLINS!!!!!! 



There is no way this game should have been a Sweet 16 matchup.  The other two schools in the VWC sectional are not nearly the caliber of VWC and LU.  I guess it falls that way sometimes, but this would've been an even better game if saved for its rightful spot in the final 4.

 WTGGGGGGGGG Marlins!!!! All I will say is..there were 2 All Americans playing tonight and both were great but give me Brandon Adair any day of the week.  I'll take anyone who shoots 11-16 over 12-28  every time.. and playing without Thomas Sumpter was difficult .  He is so fast and just adds a huge spark to the team..Hope  he is better soon.  Lincoln is a really good team and they are to be congratulated on a great season.  they will be back next year for sure.  But for tonight, the Marlins were the better team.  On to the ELITE EIGHT.  and TON TON..what a shot!!!
