Got bored so I looked at each team's website. Bridgewater has a tentative schedule on their website.

Randolph Macon also has their schedule up, as well as a prelimninary roster for next season. I noticed Alex Irmer wasn't on the roster, does anyone know what the deal is with this?? He was one of their best players off the bench and surely would have helped out in the post with Wansley graduating.

Looks like the Quakers got a commitment from Fayetteville E.E. Smith HS player Sherrick Warren:   http://www.fayettevillenc.com/article?id=232331

A few schedule details for the defending champs.  It looks like they'll be heading west for one part of a seemingly difficult schedule.

The new UMHB gymnasium is one of the nicest facilities in this part of the country.

Bring your golf clubs.

H-SC assistant coach Kevin Garst has accepted the head coaching job at Salem High School.  That takes him back to his home town and is a good move for a guy with an infant.  Maybe he'll be back at H-SC some time in the future.  Apparently, he helped bring in some good recruits for next year.

A press release regarding the assistant coach is expected soon.  Tiger faithful are pleased with the news from H-SC.

Any news from the ODAC schools on new players for next year? I haven't heard anything out of VWC.

A pair of Bridgewater incoming big men were recently featured in The Daily News Record of Harrisonburg, Va. Forwards Segar Jordan of Fork Union Military Academy and Elijah Spruill of East Stroudsburg, Pa., Area HS are described as having a chance to play right away. Point guard Joey Osborne of Richard Montgomery HS in Rockville, Md., is also coming, as is D.J. Billups, a 6-1, 165-pound guard from Kingsway HS in Swedesboro, N.J. Also coming to Bridgewater: Hughesville, Pa., HS guard Taylor Volpe; guard Daniel Guffey from Forestview HS in Gastonia, N.C. and Robert Rice, who is technically a transfer from Longwood but did not play there, spending time as practice fodder as a freshman.

I don't imagine you'll hear any Lynchburg recruiting news until the roster comes out, coach doesn't want to release any names, so I'll have to do the same.

well folks it is nearing time to begin more talk about next season, and i am sad to say that i myself as well as another talented GC player will not be joining the Quakers this upcoming season. I had thought about making myself play ball, but i know i would have hated specific things about playing at Guilford, the primary thing will remain nameless, but i allowed that thing to take my love away from playing last year at one point, andf it hasn't come back.

When i was first recruited to play at Guilford, i loved everything about it, after my freshmen year things changed greatly, and they were no longer what i enjoyed being around on or off the floor. someone once told me that if you don't love the things you do, then don't do those things, because you won't succeed.

While i will continue to support the players who play for Guilford with all my heart, i couldn't handle another season feeling like i couldn't communicate with some. Will Guilford be successful next year, i honestly believe they will do great, i owuld love to be their to help them do that, but i feel like i would be fighting an unwinnable struggle with certain individuals and its not worth it!! Good louck to all teams and my Quakers!!!
