Jordan Snipes and Ben Strong very talented.  Greensboro owns the second half and have done it all year (So far) and a little bit down the stretch last year.  I think Guilford will make a little run in the ODAC.

Let's not overlook the ODAC bottom feeder:

I agree, they are talented.  The Pride did, indeed, make a great comeback - I was impressed with your team, especially in the second half.  I hope you're right about Guilford making some noise in the ODAC - I think we will too!  :)

It was a great game.  I feel fortunate to get the win because I definitely saw it slipping away.  Good luck to the Pride as well.  You have a very good team.

That's closer than I expected.  Looks like LC may be improving.

I saw the stats, actually Guilford was even-up on rebounding with Greensboro.  Amazing.  Shows you what I know.
Strong had a poor shooting night from the floor but was good from the line and pulled out a double-double.

I look forward to seeing more balanced scoring for the team.  I know they can do it, as they did in that Elon game.
I regret Justin Strickland's injury.  I wish him the very best.

See you at the Lynchburg game, hasanova.
Sludge, looks like the whole team was off on shooting.  Personally, I don't think you'll win most games shooting 38.5%!  Ben's 8 of 22 was 36.4%, but he was getting pounded inside.  Think about that last flurry to end the half - three close shots by several different Quakers that should have gone in to put Guilford up by 15.  The team does look like they have improved some with FT shooting, so those 20 points certainly helped.  We do need more balanced scoring - Jordan and Ben had 53 of 78 - that's almost 68% from two starters.  Let me know what you hear about how Justin's ankle - is it a sprain or something more serious?  He's good and I'd hate to see the team lose him for an extended period of time.

nice article in today Harrisonburg fishwrap about Bridgewater's Dominic Trawick. Granted its only 2 games but its a nice start for the young man and a huge reason the Eagles have started 2-0.

Heading up to the Valley manana to take in the Don Glick Invitational and will come back with a not so unbiased review of the young Eagles and maybe a thought or two from BC insiders on Monday and I may have a thang or 2 to say about the EMU's as well. I will drag a long a certain former ODAC POY for his thoughts as well. Good luck the Valley guys this weekend!

haha nova-
the potential game winning shot in regulation for greensboro was wide left.  Just like football  ;)  I couldn't believe we out rebounded Guilford.  With that big guy underneath.

Steely - are you hanging around until Wednesday's match-up with VWC? Carol and I will be there with #44.

Yeah, that game could have gone either way down the stretch.  I was worried.  :)  Actually, the box score said each team had 44 rebounds and Strong had eleven, so he did his part.  You have a good team this year and they deserve the support of the Pride fans.  You'll definitely be a contender in the USASAC this year!

I have not heard any news today but as of last night Strickland's ankle was a sprain.  I do not know the severity but if I had my guess no one will untill the swelling goes down.  My guess is he will be out a couple (2-3) weeks.  Nova I will be at the game on Saturday so say hey if you see me.

Thanks for the update, coopersharpe.   I'm glad you think it's just a sprain.  We have three games (LC, HSC and RC) between now and Dec. 9, so it sounds as though Justin Strickland may miss all of those.  One good thing this time of year - after the 9th, the Quakers will not play again until the 30th, so he will have some time to recover while the team is idle.  If it had happened in late December or early January, he could lose 10-12 games in a month!  As far as I know, I will be at Guilford on Saturday and I will definitely say hello.  Thanks again.  Peace.

AU beat Lynchburg in a game last year by only one point.  Looks like Lynchburg has something that AU stuggles to defend or something.  If you say they are bottom feeder.

jdub...sorry wish I could stay for the Weslyan game. Brutal for the kids to have to make THAT trip on a Wednesday Night. Hopefully the Marlins will be completely worn out by the time they take the floor at Nininger Hall  ;). Pass along my best to #44 and of course your better half as well!
