Oh and one other thing:

Go Marlins.

Go Quakers.

And, yes, Go Tigers! 8)

Coach Nunnally was a very close friend and Coach Rhoads was basically hand picked by Coach Nunnally to take over the program. I would just be shocked if RMC doesn't do all they can to keep Rhoades on staff, than again, you look at the rest of the RMC sports programs and they are all in the dumper with the exception of the mens and girls b'ball teams, so maybe the administration isn't capable of recognizing coaching talent. F'ball program is in bad shape, baseball average, lacrosse below average... basketball is all RMC has right now and Rhoades is the foundation for that.
Nothing is guaranteed in life but I could not imagine how the RMC program could be anything but satisfied with Coach Rhoades.

Again, TFA, you've taken the words right out of my mouth. . . . . 8)

Gee folks...can I get in on the Macon bashing!! Oh it must be so much fun!!!  I'm kidding.  ;D Some good points made here. It is always good to whip the Jackets but let's face it, we are brothers in arms.  All us ODAC types are whether we like it or not.  It is not healthy for the conference when there isn't at least some semblance of balance. Just look at the ODAC tourney as a classic example. I am tickled pink (or should I say garnet) at the Tiger's run but it could have just as easily been one of the other teams. That my friends is good for the ODAC no matter your colors. Ok...I admit it was a little tough on our friend Hasa but he survived as did the Quakers.  ;D

BTW.....Keith must be in Siberia or something. Can't believe he hasn't gotten in on all the Macon talk.  ;D

Don't it just warm your heart to hear a Macon guy say those words?  ;D Don't worry Jacket...I'm sure I'll get to return the favor at some point.  8)

allsky - As you so accurately surmised, all was blue in Quakerland until about 10 pm Sunday night.  There was a nice little article in the Greensboro News and Record today about how down the team was at 8 pm last Thursday and how happy they were Sunday night to get a second chance.  Hopefully, they'll make the most of their opportunity versus Manhattanville.  Go Quakers!  Go Tigers!  Go Marlins!

I hope so too Hasa. If they don't I'm sure there will be those that will say they shouldn't have gotten in in the first place. IMO, the Quakers have nothing to prove to the world. They proved it all year and unfortunately, picked a bad time to stumble. I hope they will bouce back and prove it to themselves that they deserve to be in. Except for the unusual set of circumstances in Salem last weekend, we wouldn't even be having this conver.  8)
Go Scots...Go Tigers...Go Quakers...Go Marlins!!!  Haven't looked closely at the brackets yet but would be pretty kool  8) if the Scots faced someone from the ODAC along the way to Salem. Or better yet, in Salem.  Lot of things have to happen between now and then though. ;D

As you put it yourself, we're all brothers-in-arms. 8)  I've never seen the situation any differently.

Year in and Year out, I have always routed for any team in the NCAA from the ODAC even if it is RMC (sorry, true Tiger FAN). Several of my college friends were blasting me for routing for RMC the year both teams were ranked 1 and 2 come tournie time. I looked at them and knew they weren't true sports fans. I have to admit last year when VWC won the National Championship, part of me was upset that it wasn't HSC to do it first, but immediately after that disappointment I was glad because it meant that the ODAC was getting much better in Conference rankings, Two teams have made it to the Final Four, one national title, one runner-up (probably the best ever National Title Game ever), and even RMC hosting a Sectional.

Now, on to coach Rhodes. I admit living in Richmond that I still am not well aware of the situation, but I have to defend Coach Rhodes here. He is an outstanding Coach and only has the brightest future ahead of him. RMC needs to back Rhodes, and if the PARENTS are complaining, so what. As long as Rhodes doesn't go Bobby Knight and hit a kid, then they really have nothing to complain about. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK Rhodes.

Look at that HSC Hood match-up getting some love on the D3hoops front page (27% of voters think HSC Hood winner could be best Cinderella team to advance far in tournie). I don't know if that is good for VWC or not

If anyone is interested, Brandon Adair from VWC and Strong from Guilford are getting some love in the National Pick'em Contest where you choose five total players and score points based on performance in each game, catch is you pick at start of tournie only. However, it is nice to see the ODAC players getting some love.

Good story on d3hoops.com about Coast Guard. Don't know much about that conference but likely more improbable than the H-S run.

Thanks to the H-SC fan's comments in regards to Coach Rhoades.  They all ring true.  Again, thanks...

Now, good luck to H-SC, Guildford, and VWC.  Make the ODAC proud and show that is a strong conference and will only be getting stronger in the years to come.

Allsky7,
I would really enjoy to see the Scots be able to face off against a team from the ODAC - esp. with there being so much history there.

If my calculations are correct, Brandon Adair is 4 points away from 2,000.  Unless something crazy happens, he will get those on his homecourt in the NCAA tourney.

Alright, if anyone is interested, I went to the CAC thread last night trying to get a scouting report for Hood, and one poster said if they had time today they would visit our thread and post a scouting report.

Highlander and Allsky7:  If Maryville can get out of Clinton, Mississippi, which will not be easy, they'd meet an ODAC team unless HS-C and Virginia Wesleyan both lose early.  That would be fun.
