Nobody attacked you.  In fact you came on our board looking to "ruffle feathers."  I don't think any ODAC fans have come on the ASC board and represented themselves the way you have on the ODAC page.

I challenge you to go back and look at your posts and your comments in each regarding VWC not having a chance, being lucky, needing miracles, stealing wins, not wanting to recognize the city of Norfolk, and even the education part (where clearly I did not read over my post and screwed that one up all on my own).  Did you expect no response?

I think the real reason is that you are hyped up about the game and a little pissed that VWC got the home court game and not MC.  In turn, you decided to "ruffle feathers" on the ODAC board.  We aren't the NCAA and didn't make the decisions (although we are glad the game is at home in our little Batten Center).  Let's try to just be fans and comment on what really matters...the game.

Again, I can't wait to see this game on Friday.

Note:  Can my editors please look over this post and send back my grammar and spelling errors?  I didn't know I was being tested on a board.

Must be that VWC education.

If you're trying to get noticed, you're doing a good job. Then again if you drop your pants in a crowd you will get some attention. Please remind me, what diploma mill did you graduate from and how does that qualify you to take shots at VW?
If you make every game a life and death proposition, you're going to have problems. For one thing, you'll be dead a lot. Dean Smith

Lighten up, fan. I never said that VWC didn't have a chance. In fact, I said it would be a great game. You seem to be bent out of shape because I would have the impertinence to predict that they would lose. Maybe YOU should go back and read my posts. This is a forum for discussion, isn't it? If you want love letters, find a pen pal. I think you're a little too sensitive.

You were the one that initiated the personal attack by questioning my business comprehension. You just happened to make a glaring grammatical mistake in the very sentence in which you did so. The opportunity was far too great for me to pass up under the circumstances, and I've already apologized for the cheap shot at your beloved VWC and the education you received there.

And by the way, you have miscalculated my allegiance entirely.

Jeez, how many times must I apologize for this comment? And if I must respond to the insulting question you pose about the "diploma mill" I graduated from, let me just say that it was one with exponentially higher academic standards than VWC.

YADA YADA YADA now it is over.  The game is going to be great.  MC has a great team, as does VWC.  I think the crowd will play a big factor, but these MC boys are ready.  This will probally be the best game of the tournament.  Good luck to both teams, I can't wait to get there.

By the way, has anything been said if there will be a video feed or not

justafan02

balls a dunkin....I haven't laughed that hard in a while...thanks

I don't think there will be a video feed from VWC.  I think the only video feeds last year were from Salem (at least from the VWC games but I hope I am wrong).  I know there will be live stats, but those are more nerve racking than not watching the game at all.  There will also be a webcast.  Hope this helps.

People really make fun of Ton Ton's name at games? ??? College aged / adult people? ??? That's revolting. It is not okay to make fun of a name just because it comes from a culture other than your own.... whoever does that should be ashamed. We all joke about the number of Dutch last names on the Hope and Calvin team... but that's a playful jab at the fact that they are ALL Dutch.... not the fact that they are DUTCH. Unbelievable... especially due to fact that college people are supposed to be educated and relatively thoughtful and socially progresive. :(

Ralph:

Thanks for the Link regarding the Native Americans ex-slaves report.  As someone with Cherokee descendants on both Paternal and Maternal sides(along with African and Scottish), I found the article intersesting.  In that I had nothing to do with my heritage, I find it interesting how others can decide how I can refer to myself  :) .

They usually make fun at first and then he hits a couple big threes and it stops for some reason....

With all the talk about MC/VWC, it seems like Lincoln/Guilford is getting lost  ;D .  I think the Lions/Quakers game may turn into a track meet to see who's first across the finish line.

I, for one, have deliberately taken the "quiet" route on posting about this game.  I agree, njlincolnlion, I think we could see 200 total points in this game.  Hopefully, at least from my point of view, we'll see lots of misses from beyond the arc for the Lions, and a lot of successful touches inside for Strong.  :)  In some ways, I think the games the Quakers have played against the E&H Wasps the last few years will be good experience for facing Lincoln.  I wish I could be there, but I'll listen on the net.  I'm expected a great - and fast-paced - game!

Enjoy it!  Go Quakers!  Go Marlins!  Go ODAC!

hasanova:

I just hope Lincoln has the depth to handle Ben Strong.  The Quakers are familiar with the Batten Center, being in the ODAC.  Lincoln's only game there was last's years sweet sixteen one point loss at the hands of Balenga.

Unfortanately, I can't make it down and will be listening as I did last year hoping for different results   :) .

Go Lions!
