107 all!  GC called TO on a scramble for a loose ball.  They can hold it for the last possession.  My heart can't take much more.  23 sec to go.  GC missed, LU with the ball with a 0.3 seconds to go.  LU stepped on the inline.  GC ball.  0.2 sec.  No. 2OT.

120 all.... Time for the 3rd OT!

Strong's 50th point tied it on a 17-foot jumper.  That ties the all-time GC record held by my Dad's first cousin, David Smith, in 1971.  I was there.  :)

Quakers win 129-128 in 3 OT and will go to the Elite Eight !!!

Final  GC 129, LU 128 in triple OT!

The Lions had the ball with 3.4 seconds to go and missed a lay-up!  Strong had 59!  That breaks my Dad's first cousin's (David Smith) 1971 Guilford record of 50!  I was there.  Elite Eight!  Wow!  Go Quakers!  Whew!

Wooooooo Hooooooooo........! One down for the ODAC and 1 to go. Congrats to Guilford.

I guess you will have to take back that "Guilford may have wasted a good season" Hasa! Your boys are on fire post the new life after the ODAC Tourney happened.

Too bad that if VWU wins they have to play again in the Elite 8 instead of the Final 4! :-\

Now Matt  LeTourneau from Catholic gets his wish and he can spend more time with his newborn infant.

Congrats to Coach Yuille and the Lincoln Lions on another great season, and now on to DII.

Thanks, njlincolnlion.  I know you're disappointed, but LU has a heck of a team!   I appreciate your congratulations.  That's a class act.  The game was exciting to say the least.  I think Guilford's announcers said it best - the Quakers didn't really beat the Lions, they just outlasted them.  This one will go in the record book.  I know it's trite, but no one should have lost this game.  The Lions can hold their heads high.  Good luck Quakers tomorrow night!

Guilford, good luck the rest of the way, and if you play like you did tonight, you'll be hoisting the walnut and bronze.

Oh, by the way I hope the d3hoops/SI jinx didn't affect the outcome of the game  ;D .
