FISHTANKFAN

You are right  Jdubyadubya. All the role players and unsung heros of the Marlins, including Rodney Young, don't get enough ink.  Rodney has been ill and when I was writing  the Marlins names down from the box score, I missed him.  Each Marlin is an extremely important part of the team.  Without them, the Marlins would have had no success and never be where they are.  They are very unselfish.   Stats are of little importance, but winning and  teamwork are.  So thanks again to all the Marlins for what you do to make a good team a Final Four team.  All for one and one for all.

I think Lincoln would have matched up well with the Marlins also.  I also think Lincoln would have had that extra motivation  ;D , but alas it was not to be.

I'm pretty sure President Greer would have found something for me to do at the Fishtank, as long as I could guarantee VWC hosting the sweet sixteen, and Lincoln participating in it  ;D .  Perhaps I'll find a way to see a Marlin game under the premise of having a meeting with the CIAA staff that is headquarted in Va Beach/Norfolk.

As much as I would have love to see Lincoln make another run next year, it won't happen since we start our provisional year in DII.

All I will say is that it will be a good game.  I refuse to put foot in mouth trying to predict the winner of the game (a lesson learned from an ASC poster earlier this week).

:P

Say, where is that poster? ???

I miss that guy. ;) ;D
Yeah, yeah. Sure you do.  ;D I'm still here, but it has taken me a while to get over the disgusting diet I was gorging myself on a week ago. With my history here you guys don't want to know who I'm pulling for this weekend.

Airborne was actually pretty good about showing up for some good natured kidding, but I bet he's still finishing off a big helping of crow and humble pie.  It takes a while to digest a meal such as that!  :)
No, I'm finished now. The air has even cleared, so those around me can breathe again.  Ever smell crow after a trip through the human digestive system?

No, but one of my college roommates ate beef and bean burritos three meals a day for about two weeks.  :(  Is that close?

Add about a pound per day of Maytag blue cheese and you would just about have it.  I'm already assuming he washed those burritos down with the cheapest American cerveza sold.  Perhaps a 2 year old Iron City?

Good luck to the Marlins.  Great run for Guilford as well.  A whole lot of good press for the conference between Strong's herculean effort and VWC's repeat run to Salem.

I'm interested in what's going on in Ashland too...I hope the seniors not playing is not related to Rhodes' status.  I've heard some rumblings that all is not well there.  Being a HSC fan and looking at it from a competitive standpoint, I'd be happy as can be to see Rhodes go....he's a heckuva coach and I can't imagine RMC bringing in an upgrade. They need to be careful or they are going to lose him.

Whew!  The cheese does definitely kick it up a notch.  You know it's bad when you're tempted to use his gym socks as an air freshener!  Yeah, something along the lines of Iron City or Pabst Blue Ribbon would be the perfect complement.  :)

I think it's a very telling sign that no one from R-MC is playing in this game.  They certainly have some talented Seniors who've had good careers, so what's the deal?

I haven't heard anything at all.  But then again, I'm somewhat out of the loop. :-[
