I don't know if this is the final roster, but Emory & Henry has a roster posted http://www.ehc.edu/cgi-bin/MySQLdb?VIEW=/athletics/roster/view.txt&teamid=5

It only has 13 players - including five freshman. are they abandoning "the system" this year???

ALL - Basketball is in the air! Can you smell it? Hot gyms, suicides, blisters, shooting free throws forever! STH has it going with his pre-season picks. Atta boy Scottie. The only thing missing here is an opening week poem by the Bard of the ODAC, Hasanova. Go Nova Go! ;D

I counted 17 on E&H's roster including 9 freshman - maybe it was updated again.  I hope they do not abandon the Grinell - it makes for some wildcard games throughout the season.

I think in a lot of cases, more guys are trying out than can fit on the team.   Some might go to JV, etc.  How can you announce your roster after one day of practice?

maybe they aren't cutting anyone. 18 is a low number in past years for the E&H system, so if that's all that tried out then there isn't really a need to cut anyone.

There once was a league that can nail 'em
Long jumpers and slam dunks, we hail 'em!
Hurrah!  Midnight madness!
At twelve. still some sadness.
Ten teams, but just eight go to Salem!

JWW - Thank you, sir.  It was fun and came to me in about 5 minutes, but you're always too kind.  Should be a good ODAC season.  I'm expecting a fine season from several teams, including my Quakers.  With the possible exception of the early November exhibition game at DI South Carolina, I'm looking for a Guilford squad with the attitude they can win them all!  Go Quakers!

Hasa, that may be your best effort ;D
If you make every game a life and death proposition, you're going to have problems. For one thing, you'll be dead a lot. Dean Smith

Thanks for that touching poem, hasanonva! Its about the most emotional range I've ever seen packed into a limerick.

Scottie, I would add Caleb Kimbrough (Guilford) to you list, on the first or maybe second team.  Also, I think Femi may go higher.

You'll notice though that I don't have the brains or guts to produce my own list yet.
