Allsky,

Please don't remind me of that game.  That was my senior year at HSC and we had gone undefeated until the ODAC Championship game.  Then we lost that 2nd round game at home when I thought the player did not have possession to be able to call the timeout at midcourt to set up the final second shot.  It was a very entertaining game however as Jermey Harris went out with a bang with his career high in points.

Brian,

I was at that game and was sitting at midcourt on the opposite side from where Chris Houseright (I believe that is who caught that pass) was. I am a former Fighting Scot and have all the loyalty in the world to them but I questioned whether he had possession too. I admit that my view from behind was probably not the best in the world. Sure would love to see that on instant replay. It was a tough way for any team to lose a ballgame no doubt.

The Randolph-Macon roster is now posted.

The college's entire website has been redesigned so I had to go through the home page to get to it, rather than being able to use by existing bookmark, then I bookmarked the new page and deleted the old one.

It's different, but I don't like it as well as most of the other ODAC basketball websites, at least as it presently displays in Netscape on my computer.  The drop-down menus are permanently dropped down in my browser, which is annoying.  Is there a way to change that?  Also, the headline piece on the basketball page is a season preview for last season, so I guess they haven't really got the page up-to-date yet.

I'm more interested in seeing what kind of a team Macon puts on the court this year.  They're a team that I think could finish anywhere from 5th to 8th this year .... and perhaps they'll surprise and finish higher than that.

Hampden-Sydney plays its first game in 8 days.  How about the other teams?

Use Firefox, the best web browser around...

LC's first game is Friday on the road at NAIA Southern Virginia then they have Methodist coming to town on Tuesday.

Guilford played an exhibition at DI S. Carolina on Nov. 5, but their DIII schedule starts on Nov. 17.  The Villa Julie Mustangs (a 2007 NCAA playoff team) visit Ragan-Brown fieldhouse this Saturday night and then the Quakers play intracity rival Greensboro at their on-campus Hanes Gym on Nov. 28.  I can't wait!  Go Quakers!

The Generals play Drew University in Madison, NJ Friday night. The winner gets the winner of the Williams v. Ursinus game on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets start their 2007-2008 season this Friday against John Carroll in the Albright Tip-Off Tournament.

Still reeling from Saturday's football loss to Hampden-Sydney, but slowly switching gears to hoops.  GO JACKETS.  It'll be an interesting year with all the freshmen we have on the team.

Jacketlawyer,  Any info on this years John Carroll team. I think they finished last year in the top 25.

JCU out of Cleveland was a Top 25 team last year and garnered 24 points this fall - good enough for the 39th highest vote total.  I also believe John Carroll was an NCAA participant last season, losing in the Round of 16.  If you open the link I've attached, you'll see why the Blue Streak faithful are optimistic about this year.  Looks like two key players from last season decided to come back for another year of eligibility even when, academically, they didn't have to do so.  Good luck!
