Maineman, are you just trolling Williams fans, now :-[ ...
Honestly, I didn't know and was wondering if they made the progression to First Team as a Senior.  When I saw the reply by Bucket and you, I knew it was Duncan Robinson.  No troll!

Williams Fans...

Let's analyze your pod.

Becker will be a low double digit win...

Williams will be challenged by the winner of Scranton-Oswego St.   Both teams are talented and finished strong. Oswego won 14 of last 16 and Scranton 10 of last 11.  Worth showing up early to see this one.  Scranton is more defensive minded while Oswego has more balance.

If Williams survives that match-up...the team to fear is MIT.  Susquehanna has been "exposed" on film. Trinity also lost a close one to them early. MIT plays a high IQ, deliberate, defensive style that would contrast to Williams' style. Talented as their multiple good games with Babson show.

Very Compelling Games....

Can you expand on why Susquehanna has been exposed on film? also what do you think the seeding is for this site?  Becker 4th? Scranton/Oswego or Williams 1?

Scranton appears to be the top seed in this bracket, but until now I am not sure why they weren't treated as such with a game against Williams. I missed that in the past few days. Certainly interesting.
I heard somewhere, perhaps the NCAA show, that they couldn't host.  Maybe their gym is not large enough to host or is committed to another event like women's basketball?

Not sure what you think you heard in the NCAA show (since I was the analyst)... but the men were unable to host because the women where hosting (on the NCAA show we hinted at that since the women's show had not been produced/aired as of yet). Women had priority in the first weekend in odd-numbered years.

There gym is perfectly aqueduct... it has hosted its fair share of NCAA tournament games including the women's Elite Eight last year.

And yes to the question... if Scranton was the top seed as the info I was given indicated... not sure why they aren't playing Becker. Something that has slipped past me and thus I haven't had a chance to ask the committee. May very well have slipped past them. They are human like the rest of us.

Maineman, figured as much, easy to forget if you aren't an Eph fan at least -- just joking around.  As a Williams fan, I can only imagine Duncan, Aronowitz, Scadlock, and any two other rotation guys (honestly would hardly matter who) on the floor together and sigh.  Of course Tufts would be pretty darn interesting with the D1 version of Sabety -- all 290 pounds of him! -- patrolling the lane this year, too.

Has there ever been a longer week in my life? I sure can't remember one.  ::)

Thought that was a typo so I checked the Hofstra roster and you're right....290 lbs!  Never would have guessed that even after looking at the team picture.  Sabety used that bulk well - he averaged 4.6 rpg on just 12.5 mpg.

It has been a long week and for those of us rooting for teams in the tournament, you would like it to last a long time.  Unfortunately, the NCAA experience could end rapidly and it will be a long wait until next November.  Let's hope it last and lasts for NESCAC teams.

Only a day more and the games resume!  Have a busy Friday planned watching on line.  Amherst's men game beginning at 5:30pm followed by the Amherst WBB game at 7pm.  Somehow my wife will figure out how to get me supper :).  Do not have any of those old "TV food trays" anymore.
Agree with maineman!.  Oh yes, who are you following Maineman?

Big Mike, Landmark Conference fan here. I agree Susquehanna did not finish the season as they would have liked. Ended in a 3 way tie for first in the conference, and because of tie breakers ended up as the 3 seed, and went on the road for the first round of conf playoffs.

Curious as to what you saw on tape that has "exposed" SU. I am not saying you are wrong, I am just interested to hear what someone from outside the conference sees as major flaws in the River Hawks squad.

Looking forward to a great weekend of games.

The DIII Tournament—and Middlebury in particular—gets some great national pub on Bill Rhoden's podcast, Bill Rhoden on Sports:

Query, board historians:
The NESCAC has 5 teams and the Northeast Region has 10 teams in the NCAA tourney.
This seems like a lot to me.
How does it compare with all regions and conferences in previous years?
nescac1?  Dave?  Anyone?
