I welcome all action in the form of K points. All bets will be assumed as straight bets unless otherwise clarified to be a parlay.

If I could be at one non-Amherst game today, it would certainly be the Tufts/Wesleyan game...that's the game of the week as the winner should have a great chance at a top 4 seed.

I'll be at that game tonight.

While this isnt basketball related it should be noted that the Trinity Squash winning streak, 252 games ended yesterday in a loss against Yale.  To put this in perspective the Bantams winning streak was an 8th grader

I guessing you meant it started when you were in the 8th grade? And since it was a 14 year streak you must be 27 or 28? ;D

nice try Magicman... I was actually putting the streak in human terms (14 = 8th grade or so for most)

Middlebury @ Hamilton
Middlebury -21.5
O/U: 126.5

Going for the Parlay with Amherst over, Hamilton over, Wesleyan under, Bates over, and Trinity over.

Gotta agree with nescac1... the Wes vs Tufts game is clearly the matchup of the week, even with the always entertaining Reilly classic Wesleyan Bates game tomorrow.

At 14 years of age, the streak would have been in eighth grade if it had followed a normal educational calendar.

I'm going to assume you're making 5 separate one-unit 2-team parlay bets (each pays +320)...and not 1 massive one-unit 10-team parlay that pays +3000. Correct me if I am wrong. Earning 300 karma from me would be fun, but it is also a one in 1,024 likelihood.

Hard fought win for the Panthers. Final margin was the largest margin of the game.

Nice gut-check win for Middlebury. As some have said before, Midd will get everyone's best, especially on the road, and that was the case tonight, w/ Greg Newton being particularly impressive for H. (Pat Sullivan scored 17, but they were hard to come by, shooting 6-16 from the field.)

Another strong outing from Sharry--22 points (10-15) and eight boards...and he was double-teamed most of the night. Kizell had a really solid game (16 pts on 6-7 shooting and six assists), Roberts added some offensive spark off the bench and was a tall body on D, and Wolfin--as is his knack--with a dagger three, stretching a 4 pt game to 7 late in the ballgame.

ANOTHER SASHA BROWN BUZZER BEATER!!!!  The Cardinals win 58-57.  Brown almost blows the game with a personal foul with 3 seconds left, but puts up the jumper to win it down by 1.  Holy Cow!!!

OchoLoko41

My parlay hopes went up in flames but a great win for the Cardinals over Tufts 58-57 in the battle of up and coming teams.

Brown won the game in the closing seconds with a nice layup after Firempong gave the Jumbos a one point lead with 5 seconds to go.

The Cardinals are proving that they are one of the most well rounded teams in the CAC, capable of winning by both outscoring the opponent and also with great defense as we all saw in the Amherst and Tufts wins.  in Brown they have one of the leagues top players (he has to be pretty close to a lock for 1st team all CAC early into league play) while Callaghan is emerging as the big man threat Wesleyan needs to succeed. This is what Wesleyan was hoping for when Reilly was given the job 4 years ago, a deep, tough, defensively talented team very capable of a deep playoff run

walzy31

Toomey with 23, 10, 5 and 2. Waller with 22 and tough defense on Hanley most of the night holding him to 18 and 10 (he's a good player...below his avg in both).

Amherst wins by 14

amh63

Amherst beats Bowdoin 80-66.  It was two at the half and nip and tuck for awhile(isn.t that a medical expression?).  Amherst gets several put ins by P. Kaasila down low and gets Bowdoin to foul.  When it reaches 7 fouls, the game plan was to let Aaron beat his man or dish off to an open man when he gets double teamed.  Aaron hits all his foul shots and also drives to make lay ups.  Amherst tough defense allows only one shot for the Polar Bears. Bowdoin's star player struggles at the foul line as he is the only offense, it seems.  It was over at the 4 minute mark as Bowdoin puts in only guards and their star.  Amherst gets most of the rebounds on missed shots and Willie even gets a block down low.  The 7 footer, Mr. Swords was put in several times but was not effective.  Bowdoin's 6'10" center was a little better.  They will be trouble if they learn to play the low post in the future.
When the Polar Bear's outside shots start to miss, the offense stalls and falls in the hands of one person.
