Best looking without really trying- this has gotta be a toss up between killian and gach. so hard to decide!

And not Sinnickson, who makes Brad Pitt look like Karl Malden? (Ask Young Girl, my 16 year old daughter.)

Valid point Old Guy.  How could we leave out the 2011 Mr. New York State teen bodybuilding champion? http://siflexphysique.com/2011-mr--ms--new-york-state-results.html

If anyone cares... I will be on the call for the Williams-Albertus Magnus game...

Dave
Is that the video stream that you will be announcing? Who's your partner? And do you know who will be doing he Amherst-Plattsburgh game?

Terrible student announcers will be doing the Amherst game, like always.  (Although, I have to admit, the last game wasn't terrible - unprofessional sure, but watchable, which is better than it's been in recent years.)

Hoop Fan....thanks for the kind words for the student announcers. :)
Dave's interview with the Richard Stockton folks gave me the info I needed.

Interesting info on the Mary Washington website for the Sectionals?  Seems they are going all out for their first hosting of a big sectional.  All students, faculty and staff can get free tickets to the games...paid out of The President's fund...nice!  However, the seats with back support cost more...8 bucks...and have been sold out.  Guess the NCAA sets the minimum prices. :)

Amherst cannot afford the talents of  Dave.  Just kidding here.  Will you be doing both games Dave?

Trival question.....if a team brings cheer leaders, etc....are they charged and are they counted in the attendance?  Don't believe I ever seen school cheer squads in a NCAA game in LeFrak.

amh63, even tongue in cheek, this board rarely, if ever, discusses cheer leaders.  Is midweek really that slow for us now?  Look out for Plattsburgh.  They are easy to under rate and more dangerous than you think.
IMHO, the NESCAC will send two teams to Salem, but it won't be with any easy games along the way.

Young Girl isn't alone.  I have a 61 year old female friend who attends Midd games just to ogle Sinnickson.  And, amh63, don't mention the PV name here!

Not going to argue about Plattsburgh.  That game Friday was very painful to watch.  They shredded our (MIT)'s D like nobody else this year.

Middhoops...advice taken my friend.  Magicman and I have been chatting a little on his board wrt to our teams.  Agreed with your view.

Yes, it is little slow here.  Heck I enjoy watching the cheer leaders and other women squads.  Did you not watch the Hamilton dancers during stoppage in the game?  Amherst in my time there had cheerleaders of sorts....male ones during football games...in a time of all male enrollment.

Will close with a true story about a frat brother from NY state.  A big fellow who rowed crew at Amherst but did not play football at Amherst even when he was a good player in HS.  He told me and others that he realized he only played football was because of the female cheerleaders. :)

FYI ...there is a preview of the Amherst sectional teams on the Amherst website.  Magicman has posted it in part on his board...so it has a sort of approval as to being a fair and balanced one.

At this point, I will be doing PBP for the Albertus Magnus-Williams game and will probably be doing color for the VWC-UMW game. I then give myself at least one more day at home and not be in attendance for Saturday's game (I leave for Salem on Wednesday afternoon and am already exhausted... so heading home Saturday is almost a no-brainer).

I am working with the UMW athletic department on this... the stream will be their's (though, as an NCAA broadcast), I am just lending my assistance. My "partner" will be the guy who normally calls their games, I believe.

As for the Amherst game... I have no idea what their plans are.

And as for the Richard Stockton information... what did anyone learn from my interview... and what interview?

Dave....the "interview" on Hoopsville with the HBC and a player, I believe.  Maybe we both are getting worn out :)  Like the coach....his video is on the D3hoops site....I saw it eaelier on the RS website.

Dave 'd-mac' McHugh

Well.. Gordon Mann talked to Richard Stockton's coach last weekend and we aired the interview on Hoopsville Sunday... I talked to Coach Matthews a few weeks ago on the show.

My interviews in person last week were with Wesley, Virginia Wesleyan, and then Mary Washington - all of those also featured players.

This board has been extraordinarily quiet considering 2 NESCAC teams will be taking the floor in the next 4 hours to try to advance to the Elite Eight. I'm   :o     Go Plattsburgh State!! Maybe that will help. ;D
