Time to find out what Toomey has left in the tank and his heart after his worst half as an LJ.

middhoops

The Ephs came out in the 2nd half looking much like they've played since last losing at Amherst.  Offensively, they are scary.  Nothing new there.

Robinson= overrated
Kizel= overrated

This "is kizel elite?" debate is as contentious as the "is joe flacco elite?" debate.

Toomey= the GOAT!!!
Who's overrated?

jayhawk

Jacob Nabatoff is having to play who is the fourth string center. With Ben Pollack and Levine out

Missed Ben Pollack's ability to split zone at top of key

Williams is playing super

The aforementioned Duncan Robinson is playing ok.  I'd guess.  Probably over rated, however.  It's only the semis.

No intended slight to the LJs, but this game looks like the last two.
Williams offense is too precise to stop at this point.
Can Whitewater outscore them?

Quick check in from Salem to say this is really really fun.  What a performance.  Wow.  Best game I've seen played by any D3 team in a long long time.  One national champ down, one more to go tomorrow!  Should be a great battle.  Amherst still 0 for in the NCAA vs Williams. Enough said.

old_hooper

Only words I have for the Ephs...PERFECTION!  Unbelievable execution and accuracy!  LJs look like they were a step slow tonight.  I do not think that the championship game is going to be close if the Ephs run their offense like they did tonight.

Congratulations to Williams and go get the walnut and bronze!

Bad news I think, Maker will get a D1 offer and this game could really hurt Toomey's chance at POY!

pick and roll

Fred - Jeffs just cut Williams lead to 30 - come back time!

Absolutely all the credit goes to the Ephs and their faithful. As an Albertus fan I was rooting for them. Crazy how good they've been playing.

Yet another unstoppable Eph offensive performance.  They've looked like a clinic in the last 8 days.

AncientSonOfHixon

Well, i expected epic. Just never expected an epic schooling.

Congrats to Ephs. Brilliant game. Jeffs couldn't solve the zone, and had no hope of stopping that offense.

I feel absolutely awful for the LJs--nothing more painful than going out like that. Not sure what else to say except to congratulate them on a great, great season and promise them that time will put this one in some perspective, eventually. This crew has given me and their fans an astonishing amount of pleasure, though. That's not diminished by this one.

Tomorrow I hope the Ephs represent the NESCAC the way they did today. I think they'll do it fairly easily.

As good as Robinson looked scoring effortlessly, Mayer was hands down the best player on the court with 19, 10, 6 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks. It is Williams' game to lose tomorrow.

nescac1

Agreed that Mayer was MVP tonight.  The biggest difference between Williams now and a month ago though is Mike Greenman.  Ever since he came through in that Tufts game he's been playing amazing pure point guard.  He just gets better and better. How many people had him owning the match-up with Toomey?  And as for Duncan Robinson, I'd call that a pretty fair game for the second best rookie in the Northeast!

Duncan Robinson=Overachiever

Right Fred?
