It is quite annoying. Women's is fine and in sync.

Crazy how much Trinity just has their way with Tufts

toad22

Trinity certainly looked the best of the four teams playing today. Maybe they are peaking at the right time.

jumbomumbo, what happened 0 for 3 ? Wesleyan game, Tufts beatdown, not four best coaches ....

Tomorrow's final
Trinity 75
Wesleyan 69

I expect a great game tomorrow. Trinity is ascending and Wes just seems to find a way to win.

Could be an epic clash.

Linton is one of the best coaches in the league, hands down. Trinity has had our number, I'm not looking too far into this game.

Statement from Mumbo:

Mumbo apologizes for a pathetic 0-2 prediction weekend. He stands firmly by his statements regarding Coach Linton being one of the best coaches in the NESCAC. I'd argue, all of D3. I'd also argue, that jumpshot doesn't know what he is talking about when it comes to just about anything!

The lights were simply too bright for Mumbo to see through all the commotion of the NESCAC semi final round. With that being said - on the biggest stage yet - Mumbo can state with the utmost confidence, that Trinity beats Wesleyan tomorrow.

I believe this loss for Wesleyan will be the best thing that will happen to them. Best of luck to both teams tomorrow and all 4 NESCACs that play in the NCAA tournament... may the shadow government that is the NCAA please avoid NESCAC matchups until AT LEAST the elite 8.

Sincerely,
Jumbomumbo

Trinity's losses on the year were to Babson in 2OT, Williams, and Wesleyan, and we all just kind of forgot about them for some reason. They also still have, for my money, the top player in the league you would pick if you needed to win one basketball game. Should be a good one tomorrow

Should be a great game. How will Wesleyan legs respond. Regan played 47 minutes Johnson played 40, Cormier    42. Trinity no one over 28 minutes. If the game is close, will have to disagree would pick Regan over anyone. He has done it the last 3 games when needed. Vetter just might be the reason it isn't close at the end.
Also looks like no matter what happens today, the first 4 seeds are locked in 1-Wesleyan, 2-NYU, 3-UW Platt, 4-Trinity.

I do worry about Wesleyan coming off the really tough double OT but they have a slightly longer turnaround than Trinity and the home crowd should give an energy boost.  I like Wes in a close game.

I agree that Regan (or Morgan) are tougher to stop one-on-one than Vetter. And Josh Cameron is a secret weapon, he's been playing more and does a lot of what Dana Smith did last year for Trinity (minus the shooting) as an offensive rebounder and major disrupter on D.  If he can add any sort of outside shot he will be an a tough guy to deal with down the line.  With him and Cormier, Wes matches up as well defensively as anyone on the wing with Vetter and Jarrel. I also think Oscar Edelman will be big for Wesleyan playing bigger minutes as a stretch 5 - without a huge post presence on Trinity, Wes can afford to play him and his spacing can really help the Regan and Johnson drives, when he launches it in rhythm I always feel like it's money.

If Trinity does win I think it means Lazarre has a big game.  He had a big game vs Wesleyan earlier in the year and he's a guy who needs to score as the Trinity wings will be hounded all game.

Will the Wesleyan fans show their true loyalty & enthusiasm for the team by showing up at the game drunk at Noon on a Sunday? Not an easy ask!

jumbomumbo

Wesleyan 36-35 at half. Trinity's reserves were phenomenal in turning the game around, sparking a 12-0 run. I love how Berry plays for Trin.

Think there's been 11-12 lead changes in this one. Trinity winning the battle on the glass and I think this will translate into a win by the end of the game. That being said, wes is finding good looks on offense and trinity's defense won't won't to allow another 36 points if they want to win this game.

D3BBALL

Refs are ruining the game for both teams atrocious reffing by all 3.
