I don't pretend to know any of your inside jokes, but if I were to plug the "all-crazy" team on my broadcast of amherst-conn(we'll set the over/under at 3 mentions), what should I say?

A-"A fun read, whether you get the jokes or not."
B- "Guaranteed to increase one's D3hoops.com karma."
C- "Will leave you wanting more..."

Agreed.  Freeman was a nightmare for Black last night, but that's only because he's so amazingly quick.  He'll be fine against Shalvoy and Rudin, more than likely.

Atnwriter,

A) Yes
B) Not the intent
C) Absolutely

I would say that the all-crazy team is a mix of basketball players who vary in ability on the court, but who earn a spot on the team due to either behaiving crazy, playing crazy, or looking crazy during the season. Currently between Conn and Amherst there is one player on the team, but the season is not over yet. In addition to ten players who make the squad, a crazy nescac coach is awarded the honor of trying to coach the odd-ball team. Also, other people are named to the squad such as "all-nescac all-crazy SID" or "all-nescac all-crazy fan." I receive input and suggestions from posters all over the league and use that to make the team. This year's team marks the 3rd annual "All-NESCAC All-Crazy Team."

I'll put $10 on the under of how many times you reference the crazy team, and also $10 on the under in the Camels / Jeffs game.

Walzy when are you telling us the team ??

LOL

I should have noted "for entertainment purposes only."

Among those playing in this game, are there any former all-crazy selections?

walzy31

Coach Hixon was last year's coach because of his wheelchair and crutch antics caused from an achilles injury.

I am not going to give any sneak peaks into the 07-08 squad. I don't want to ruin any of the suspense.

duffer

Hasn't done much of that for most of this season

Wes and Trin tied 27-27 at the half?  huh?

Amherst up 72 - 47 over Conn with 9 minutes left.

Walters with 20, Baskauskas 14, Olson and Jones 11 pts and 5 assists each.
Amherst shooting 13-29 from deep.

Don't see Stone getting the POY unless he and conn have a monster tournament run.  He put up big numbers in the 1st half, but disappeared in the 2nd.

Walters has another huge game.  Jones and Bausko both get 14 and 5 assists.  Goldy gets 10 and 4...it's really a huge luxury having a player like Matt coming off the bench.  He'd be a starter at any other nescac school.

I heard 2 all crazy plugs...under wins

70-49 Final.  Trin gave up 15 in the 2nd half to turn the game around.

0-6.

For what it's worth, Ryan O'Keefe played out of his mind tonight.  One of the best games I've ever seen him play, on both ends of the floor.

Also Matt Galvin and Jeremy Black did a good job on Rudin defensively.  Rudin missed a lot of closely-contested shots.

Smith was huge for Midd tonight... grabbed lots of rebounds when the game got close and his team needed him most.  Also Harris made lots of clutch shots.  Good win for the Panthers... congrats.

Wow, Ellis goes scoreless in the first half in Lewiston, then drops 17 after the break.  Bates over Williams, 78-71.

If you'd asked me two months ago, I'd have told you that Tufts-Williams on Feb. 9 would be one of the biggest games in the league this year.  How in the world these teams got to be a combined 2-10, I couldn't tell you. ???

atn alum

2 all-crazy mentions is correct.

If someone played "out of his mind" does that make them an "all-crazy" candidate?

Sorry, couldn't resist...
