Thanks for the compliment, Ronk.  There almost always was something about the Lady Royals that brought out the best in my Aggies (or the worst depending on how ya look at it :)), but it's a new era in Mid Atlantic basketball, & i've said it before, but we can just wish for great competition & that everyone stays healthy!

Major congrats to Del Val Senior, Moira Donohue, scoring the BIG 1,000th point in a win at home against Marywood University!  Way to go Moira!!!

It's a huge relief that the Aggie game with McDaniel is postponed until 4 PM tomorrow.  Thanks to SID, Matt Levy, for getting it on the web in a very timely fashion!  See ya all  tomorrow!

Nice win to go 4 and 4 this afternoon by the Aggies.  They beat McDaniel in a game where they were never behind.  Next up, Ursinus who always gives DVC fits.  Can't make that game, so GO Aggies, and we'll see you all at Moravian on January 4 for their winter tourney.

Number 41 from St. Norbert's looks exactly like the Sixer's Kyle Korver :)!

WOW, Way to represent the MAC, Messiah, beating 6th ranked DePauw in Mexico 61 - 47!  Warren, you have to be pleased with Lebanon Valley's great start - before the next couple of days slip away, Merry Christmas & Happy HEALTHY 2008 to everyone at this site!  Looking forward to Jan. 4 at Moravian where my Aggies take on Albright!

Kate:

It's very nice that the ladies are 10-0, the best start ever for LVC women's basketball. Of note, too, is that they start four rookies.

However, the tough part of the season begins in January (i.e., Messiah and the rest of the usual MAC suspects) ....

Happy, Healthy New Year to everyone on the site, and all players & coaches!  Yes, the Christmas holiday is special seeing family & friends, but it's great to have basketball back!  The Widener Pride play tomorrow out in California (we'll be following Alisa & her team), & the rest of the MAC teams in action.  i'm just really looking forward to a week from tonight when my Aggies meet Albright at Moravian - haven't watched them play since the 17th (ages ago).   Also, GO SIXERS on that western road trip!!!

kate

Yet another reason for following D3 sports! - i am absolutely LIVID that the Sixers have traded Kyle Korver!

kate

BEST luck to the MAC Freedom teams kicking off the New Year today - Arcadia, FDU, Manhattanville, & Wilkes - GO MAC!!!

kate

FDU 66 - Kalamazoo 55; Manhattanville 56 - Nichols 52 - GO MAC, Congrats!  Once League plays starts, those two teams will be formidable opponents!

kate

Ouch!!!  Aggies & Sixers had very bad nights last evening - looking for a much better game this afternoon with SUNY Plattsburgh!  Come on Del Val!!!  Also, Albright, let's see ya all play with the same intensity you had last night  today with those Hounds!!!

kate

Yes, i totally know that one person does not make a  team, but, if you're ever on these boards, #23, i personally miss you!  That being said, GO DEL VAL - League play starts for us on Wed. night - we'll see ya all at DeSale's.

Yes, i'm still terribly upset over the Aggie's weekend (at least no one got hurt), but i really do want to  say a Huge Thank You for live stats, another thank you to Matt Levy for keeping the stats on the DVC athletic site very current, & a plea to other schools to do the same!

In response to Pat's article "What D3 players get for Christmas", - just a ton of appreciation & gratitude for watching games where they play their hearts out, &   also loads of appreciation for just having those games to attend.  Was that a "Kirby Lutz" siting at the DeSales/DVC game last night?  Also saw several team  members from Wm Allen H.S. there to see Jess R. play for DVC!  Congrats to DSU's Leigh Ann Burke -    she hit the big 1,000 to start the second half.  i LOVE this game!!!
