Best luck to my Aggies tonight as they take on DeSale's at Billera.  Also, while i'm on here, the best to Alisa DiBonaventura's Widener Pride as they travel to Messiah for the Commonwealth semi-final.  Warren, good luck to Lebanon Valley tonight as well.  The local newspaper & TV station have done a great job of hyping the DVC game, so there should be a great attendance.  Boy, this time of year is certainly emotional - Brooke, Jen, Moira - you're the BEST seniors!  Go AGGIES!!!

Two MAC players have been named as finalists for the Jostens Trophy:  Nikki Lobach (Messiah) and Leigh Ann Burke (DeSales).

Both were MVP's of their respective conferences.  Best wishes to both.

As a fan of the game & someone that has seen a few MAC games through the years when the University of Scranton was a member...let me also congratulate both Leigh Ann & Nikki for their nomination for this great award.

i want to be the first to give madd props to FDU for coming out and playing a good game tonight, i personally think we never really got going and didn't hit shots but that doesnt take anything away from what they did tonight, i'm about to head back to the gym to watch the guys game but i want to congratulate fdu on win tonight over kings

I too say "Great job" to the FDU squad! Unfortunately, I couldn't attend (home lax game), and I wish them the best at DeSales....

Kate, it sure sounded like Del Val gave them all they could handle.....

The Aggies did give DeSale's something to think about & they played a great game with nothing, absolutely nothing to hang their heads about - seniors, Brooke, Jen, & Moira, you gave it your all - you're the BEST in our book!  Major congrats to FDU, & also to Leb Val!  Hope to be at the DeSale's/FDU game on Saturday - what a night!

Sorry for the double, but it was nice to see C.J. as he was headed into Billera & we were headed out - the place was packed.

Just wanted to pop in and congratulate Del Val on scaring the hell out of DeSales tonight.  :)  78-72 final, and it honestly could have gone either way.  From the final 12-15 minutes of the game that I got to see, DeSales had no answer for Brooke Dittmar.  What a fantastic effort in the loss.

Congrats to FDU for pulling the upset over King's, and congrats to DeSales for getting it done at home.  DeSales now gets to host that rarest of double-headers: Men and Women, at home, both playing for the Freedom title.

Kate - absolutely good to see ya.  Best wishes, always, to you and the Lady Aggies.

Will do, Old Ends.  Last night was so emotional it takes a day to recover - this year's seniors were definitely something special, & we'll miss em to say the least.  However, it's great news to read that Moira Donahue was named first team All-MAC, Kim Vennera, second team, & Brittany Battinieri, ROY!  i find myself counting the months  till we see everyone in Union, NJ for the Kean University tip-off tourney.

Another committment will keep us from attending the DeSale's/FDU game this afternoon - love em both, so it's hard to pick a favorite.  FDU  & Coach Eineker have done a fantastic job all season long, & DeSale's is like our sister school, so have a great game, play hard - we're looking forward to the NCAA's.  We also miss the Donahue & Dittmar families already - hurry up November :)!

Major congrats to the Lady Dutchmen as they came very close to knocking off Messiah this afternoon.  Also congrats to reaching the finals in the conference play-offs to FDU.  That's the kind of competition that i'm always talking about - both runner-up teams will be forces to be reckoned with - that's for sure.  Can't wait til Monday to see who DeSale's plays next :)!

Thank goodness for Nicki Lobach. Carrer high (I think) of 32 points.  LVC gave the Falcons everything they could handle. LVC looks like the team to beat in the conference next year.
If the Falcons want to make some noise in the NCAA's they need to minimize turnovers and get some scoring from others beside Lobach.

Good Luck Falcons

While I assume there are good reasons, I'm not quite clear why the D3hoops mavens are projecting Albright to go dancing.
