Hello Wydown Blvd!  That's the Delaware Valley High School that's way up on 209, near the New York - Pennsylvania border.  i think Milford, PA is up there - it's a beautiful area.  While i'm here, just want to give another big thanks to the Del Val S.I.D., Matt Levy, for the great job he's doing keeping that DVC web site super current!  It's appreciated, Matt!

Good to see in our Mid-Atlantic region listing Alvernia, Eastern, & Misericordia designated MACF.  Arcadia is moving to the Commonwealth half, correct?

Pat Coleman

That's my understanding but I wanted to see the MAC change the alignment on its site before I started making more changes on ours.

With the Phillies playing so poorly right now, just wanted to inject some great softball news - Del Val Sophomore outfielder, Bethany Pavlik was named as one of 10 players on the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area College Softball Team!  Way to Go!!

The Lady Royals will be at the DeSale's opening tourney.  Maybe Friday, the 14th, we'll head up to see ya all.  That Saturday & Sunday we'll be in Union, NJ.  Can not wait!!!

Looks like a very tough non-conference schedule for the Lady Royals with a minimum of 4 2007 NCAA tournament teams plus possibly more in the 3 away tournaments in addition to no home tournament. Good to keep in touch with a quality program like Desales.
I'll probably catch them the following weekend @ Dickinson and later Gettysburg instead.

Good morning. Ronk - would venture to say that every MAC program is a Quality one ;)

Pat, sorry, i couldn't log in on the front page, but we will sincerely miss your presence here on the east coast.   i always thought that maybe we'd  meet at a high profile Aggie b'ball game sometime, perhaps that could still happen.  Let's all hope for a mild winter, especially for you there.  Good luck, its a beautiful part of the country.

Happy, safe 4th of July to everyone on the site!  November 15th is getting closer! :)

This MAC season is the most changed team wise in decades practically.  The Freedom is getting the three new squads, Alvernia (sort of like DVC), Misericordia, ( kind of the same), & Eastern, the jury's still out.  Hey Commonwealth people, we're sending Arcadia your way, any comments?  DeSale's is looming large, of course, after their performance last season.  i don't think anyone has given FDU enough credit for everything that they accomplished in 07-08, given the size of their bench.  i have no idea who is coming to the Aggies - when anyone does hear, PLEASE  post!

kate

Great to see our new members on the MAC web site!  Welcome!  Please feel free to start posting - glad you're with us!

Congratulations to the following squads on their inclusion to the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll - 2), Messiah; 9), Elizabethtown; 10) former MAC member, Drew; and 17), DeSales.  Way to GO!!!

kate

Major congratulations to Delaware Valley College's Matt Levy who has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director at the school.  He retains his S.I.D. title.

Arcadia needs a Coach - Howley to Elmira.
