DeSales just got back on the winning track tonight beating nationally ranked Muhlenberg 60/57 in OT.  What a game!

BJ,
Enjoyed the videocast; play-by-play guy was top-notch; camera work following the ball was fine with the exception of missing the final shot of the game.
A suggestion for next year: run a 5-minute pre-taped interview with a player at halftime, a meet the Bulldogs concept(who they are, class, major, where they came from, why they chose DeSales, what's on the schedule for the next week for the team, etc.). kudos for getting off the ground this year.

Ronk...thanks so much.

Glad you enjoyed the live video.

Halftime feature is a terrific idea...currently I don't have the technology to run pre-taped interviews...but I hope to have that ability as soon as next year.  Perhaps this year I could do stuff LIVE during doubleheaders with the men during women's games and the women during men's game.

Appreciate the feedback.

Jon

Idea for halftime interview...tape the interview on the camera you use to air the game then when halftime starts, flip over to Play mode and run the video.

BJ - DSU SID

Hmmm...not a bad idea Jon.

I'll have to look into that.

How about Kean beating Amherst tonight in OT!  Way to go Kean!  Now, just hope Amherst has a safe trip home - maybe they'll stay in Jersey tonight.

Not the best b'ball day yesterday, as not only did the Aggie Mens & Womens teams go down, but the Widener women lost to Albright.  Better days are coming - Can they start Saturday, Please???

Congrats to Simona Gordan of Manhattenville for scoring her 1,000 point against FDU tonight. Karen Hickey contunes to show why she is  one of the best point guards in the Conference. Her precision bounce passes and court savvy makes the Valiants go. What the Valiants lack in height they make up with a high basketball IQ and their Posts finish when Hickey dishes to them.

As for FDU, it seems they have yet to put a rotation on the floor which includes a legit 3 point threat. Just lots of one on one stuff. Is it possible for a team to regress this much in one season ?   ???

A great day for Aggie sports, a win for the Women's & Men's teams, not to mention two wrestling wins.  The  women's game was particularly exciting, a back & forth with Del Val prevailing over Eastern, 70/67.  Brit Battinieri had a monster game with 27 points & tons of rebounds (a double double).  Every one of the players hitting the court had a good game!

On this holiday morning, i'd just like to say a big thank you to Ken Andrews and Katie Imes at the MAC headquarters for the great job that they're doing on the league's website.  Believe me, people go in and check those stats frequently, and the entire website and it's careful updates are very much appreciated!  Many thanks!

B'ball TV viewing lately has been feast or famine.  Tonight for example, the Aggies are playing Manhattanville at 6, both live stats and video there, my hometown Lafayette Women are on at 7, and last but hardly least, the Sixers start at about 7:15 (last night there wasn't a thing).  Anyway, it's a great "problem" to have - GO AGGIES!!!

Great story in today's Morning Call about DeSales head coach Fred Richter.

Enjoy the read if interested.

That's a really wonderful article, BJ.  Even tho we're tough competitors,   we certainly do regard Coach Richter as a friend, and alway get a kick out of him when we see him in early season, scouting the Aggie team.  We're glad he's a coach in "our" league.  Thanks for sharing the article.

Yup, agree. That's a terrific article on Coach Richter. What stood out to me in the write-up is: (1) He's honest with his players - trust factor; (2) He's consistent: same standards for all his players; (3) He demonstrates value for academic achievement.

Thank heavens for the Aggie Men's team - they're the only ones hanging on for a victory tonight 78/75.  The Aggie women lost, the Lafayette women lost, and most disturbing the Sixers lost in OT after leading most of the game!
