Gordanmann, great job on the interview with S. Jones and the Eastern coach. The program has really escalated to a new level with  the addition of the new coach and star player...Both displayed a special sense of class and frankness with the questions you asked them. I wish continued success with the team ...

Happy, happy Holidays to Everyone on the site, and a winning, Happy HEALTHY New Year!  We're looking forward to January 2, when Del Val is participating in the Moravian Winter Tournament in Bethlehem right up the road from Easton.  It runs from Monday to Tuesday!  It will be great to get back into the swing of things!!!

FDU beat Ursinus this afternoon in a real nail biter in OT 84/82.  Whew

Yes, nice win for the Devils...It's the first close game they've won in 3 years...Seems like they have a real weapon in the frosh, Leigh-Ann Lively; made a real contribution by scoring 31 points in 30 minutes over the last 2 games ...You would think they could find a place on the court for her to play more minutes....Let's see....

Happy New Year to one and all...

Kate,

You may already be aware of this. Video of Del Val and Albany Col of Pharmacy. Watching it now. Hopefully you are also.

Hello mytwocents!  My husband & i were actually there, since Moravian is just up the road from us in Bethlehem.  Del Val needs to shake off the rust and come out shooting - the rest of the MAC schedule is looming large.  Apparently, quite a few people had off today, as the tourney was well attended.  Appreciate the heads up for the video.

Don't know how i could have missed this last week, but Misericordia came up one point short, 69/68 in a loss to Juniata, at Juniata!  Great game, Cougars!  This is the year, it seems, like everyone is beatable!

Nice win for DeSales last night beating Baruch in NYC by a 80/75 score.  I see that Coach Richter has Point Guard, Hannah Smith back.   It was fun seeing Coach at the Moravian Tournament checking out Del Val :)!  The Aggies play DSU on January 14th at DVC.  That's ALWAYS a fun afternoon!  Good crowd, raucous atmosphere, hope we have great weather that day!!!  GO AGGIES!!!

kate

Yes, i know different division, but a huge shout out to the Temple Owls beating Duke last night at Wells Fargo Center!!!  The team even took the subway from the school to the sport's complex in south Philadelphia!  Just does NOT get any better!  Tonight we're heading for Doylestown to watch the Aggies play in one of their final non-league games (Salisbury on Jan. 16 being the other one).  So far, weather looks good!

Should be a very interesting game tonight when Moravian travels to Eastern for a game tipping off at 7 pm.  I'll be watching the Sixers/Pacers game & checking often for the Greyhound/Eastern score.

... Must be the day for interesting games....Here's another:  Ramapo at FDU.....The current coach of the Roadrunners was the coach of the Devils just a few years ago, (2007 - 2008 season). At that time, he lead them to 18 wins and a Freedom Conference title game, which was won by DSU.

kate

Congratulations to FDU beating Ramapo tonight!!  Eastern was behind by 6  when i turned off the video.

kate

WOW,  i see Eastern came from behind to beat Moravian, and the Sixers beat the Pacers - congrats all around!

A real nice win for FDU last night. They attacked the basket and pressed hard on defense...While shooting may not be their forte, their intensity and aggressiveness will be a strong positive factor as they head into the meat of the conference schedule.

Agreed. They need to find (recruit?) some shooters, but boy can they run!
