Yes, congrats to Leb Val. Apparently, the Devils continued to struggle at the free throw line. I think we'll see a strategy of "make them make free throws" until something changes...

The bonus is 2 shots now(no 1-and-1), so fouling is not as rewarding as previously; still, if your pressure defense isn't good enough, that may be your better alternative.

Congrats to the Devils, getting back on track with a win in the conference opener over Misericordia. Still some issues to work through, though!

Nearly three weeks into the college basketball season and there is plenty to talk about. Conference action is also starting for many programs while others are still getting up to speed in their out-of-conference schedules. On the women's side, not a lot of upsets; on the men's side, no one seems safe to an unforeseen loss. Tonight on Hoopsville, Dave talks to several teams who are still working off last season's success and battling expectations this season and others who may quietly change the conversation in their regions.

Congratulations to Eireann Anastasi, Delaware Valley University's point guard for being named MAC Freedom Conference player of the week.  She had an exceptional outing in the Gallaudet Tournament this past weekend, scoring 28 points in a victory over Catholic University of America.  The Aggies won the tourney and Eireann was MVP.

DVC has won a few games now...all is well in Kate's World.  :o
Thought we needed to organize another search party.
Welcome back!

Hello Saratoga!  I've been here, trying to be a good, useful poster ;), and we're headed to DVU tomorrow night for a 6 pm game against TCNJ.  Are you guys a tad worried about your 5 pm match up with Eastern tomorrow?  In case we don't chat on here until the New Year, I'd like to wish you, Ronk and NEPA fan a great holiday.

Kate:
Good to hear all is well.
All the very best to you & your family this Holiday Season.
By the way, if i was worried about Eastern, those concerns were alleviated about 7 minutes into the game.
Take care, Merry Christmas.

Kate,
Looks like your Aggies were done in tonight by TCNJ's 3-pt shooter(#21 Cindy Napolitano) going 4-8; I saw Cindy play many AAU games and I should have warned you about her.
Thanks for the holiday wish and a happy one to you, also.

Sure hope that everyone on here had a great Christmas, and now, we're ready for some wins in 2016!  Go Aggies!!!

Merry Christmas to you as well Kate!

Thank you 7express and NEPAfan!  First, Good Luck to all our MAC teams playing in tournaments between now and New Year's Day!  Next, on January 3, Sunday, there will be a rare double header at DVU with the men playing in the opener at 1 against Swarthmore, and the Lady Aggies playing Dickinson at 3.  Hope to see everyone out for two great games!

kate

Our Lady Aggies started the New Year in the best possible way, coming from behind to beat a solid Dickinson squad, 62/54.  Here's to an ever improving 2016!
