Reserved Seat

I've seen Dickinson play several times.  What makes them a solid team???  They are current 4-5 and if the past is any indication, they will struggle all year.
2014-15 (7-17, 4-14 CC)
2013-14 (5-19, 1-17 CC)
2012-13 (13-11, 9-11 CC)
2011-12 (3-22, 3-17 CC)
2010-11 (10-14, 8-12 CC)
They do look better than last year.

Good morning Reserved Seat - if Dickinson could start to shoot the trey, they would be very competitive - Mary Martin was shooting lights out yesterday.  I also noticed they had four injured players - that's a lot.  They did very well with the personnel they had.  We were down by 11 I think, in that first half.

Thank you 7express and NEPAfan!  First, Good Luck to all our MAC teams playing in tournaments between now and New Year's Day!  Next, on January 3, Sunday, there will be a rare double header at DVU with the men playing in the opener at 1 against Swarthmore, and the Lady Aggies playing Dickinson at 3.  Hope to see everyone out for two great games!

Congrats on the del val men receiving votes in the top 25 poll.

Thank you NEPAFAN - they really are fun to watch!  Years like this I think we truly miss you guys, if you know what I mean.  DeSales is great for competition, but nothing beat U of S :)!!!  I am referring to the men with this post.

Kate:
So you don't miss the Scranton women?
"Nothing beats" them either.  :D

kate

Ah, Saratoga - maybe that "old" former MAC nemesis, Moravian?  ;). Happy New Year!

Bill, can you weigh in on the Lady Devils ? For the most part, they have 4 returning players in the starting line-up and lots of talent coming off the bench. They're always a worthy opponent, however, something seems to be missing besides Kyra Dayon. My sense is that they haven't peaked yet and will become consistent as the season wears on.

Huge congrats to our Lady Aggies beating DeSales tonight - sorry, you'll have to check the stats - so happy & excited I forgot the score!

Very frustrating and thought to put into words right now. Let me get my thoughts together ... And I'll try to post something this weekend!

Tonight in a road win at Misericordia, Del Val's Eireann Anastasi had FORTY points!!!

Ughh !  I recently went so far as to plug the Lady Devils on the Landmark site against my #1 fav team and then I saw last night's box score against Mahattanville. Three starters playing the full 40 minutes ? Really ? It brought back memories of last season's tournament loss when the bench players were hardly used to make a contribution. Then again, we're never suppose to tell a coach who to put on the floor and ya never know - it could be the flu season.. However, maybe a call to Kyra Dayon's cell phone during a time out would help to get advice and counsel on the X's & O's ?
