So that would be, say:

Empire 8 -- Stevens
NJAC -- NJCU etc.
PnAC -- Centenary
LC -- Drew
MACF -- FDU-Florham

From somewhere like Morristown that's all quick trips. Doesn't include the CUNYAC.

That would be it, I couldn't remember which conference Stevens and Drew went to so I didn't list.  CUNY, sometimes good basketball, sometimes good baseball.

Basically if you live in the Philadelphia to NYC corridor there are a lot of very good college programs to watch on D-3 and the lower levels.

The operative word there, Knightstalker, is "easy".  We're getting too old for those games at night that involve Routes 78 & 287, darn it anyway :)!  If our Aggies get to any championship games this season, we'll revise our traffic patterns!  Yes, we're blessed with a ton of colleges, all divisions actually, to follow.

ColonelJohn4Life

Pfft, I-78.  Great road, as long as it doesn't snow.

Thank God the Curse of Greg Reilly prevents me from going to DeSales during the post-season.

Probably should qualify that  - Route 78 AT NIGHT is a trucker's paradise - all systems go at what seems to be 100 mph.

kate

Sorry for the double (computer crashed), but CJ, what's the curse of Greg Reilly?

It may be a "trucker's paradise," but it's hell on wheels for the rest of us, day or night.
I'm convinced I-78 is where truckers end up if they flunk out of driving school.  :(

You guys should try I-81 in Virginia. That stretch from Winchester to Salem that I drive twice round-trip per season, no fun.  :-\

But at least the scenery's gorgeous.  ;)

I am used to I-78 and pyscho truckers, I drive it at least one night a week coming home from moms.  Of course living in Jersey City a few pyscho truckers is a breeze compared to the local drivers.

Yes. If only I could take an eye off the road to look. :)

Are Jersey City drivers worse than Boston drivers? I'm reliably informed that, among other things, Beantown drivers consider the use of turn signals a "sign of weakness."

Knightstalker

Turn signals, we don need no steenkeen turn signals.

My fellow easterners moaning and groaning... I'm stuck here in St. Louis, the city of flashing red stop lights after 8pm! Too bad no one ever stops for them. Here, you would think flashing red = go faster. (Now picture at a crossway, two cars running a red light from perpendicular directions... [insert dramatic pause] CRASH, SKREECH, GLASS SHATTERING!)

Seriously, does anyone out there have a great like backdoor way to get to Purchase, NY?  Would it be worth it to take a bus into the city, then public transport to Manhattanville?  Is there such a beast?  Ideas, anyone?
