Good Morning, tribehoops.  Until we get a good big girl, Stephanie seems coachable & has improved just in the few games that she started.  Her rebounding seems instinctive, & her under the basket putbacks should be coming with practice & pressure under fire.

Good day for Aggie sports Saturday - women & men's basketball wins & a  tie with wrestling giant, Wartburg!  Sure have to hand it to Misericordia with their win over Alvernia - containing the "big three" of the Crusaders couldn't have been easy.

Looks like a very good Allentown game Monday. Muhlenberg at DeSales. All of Muhlenberg losses come from teams outside the Centennial. The latest against MAC's Alvernia last Monday night. I'll watching live stats to see how the game goes. Good Luck to both teams( although Routing for CC team)

Yes, Old Ends, that game tonight could be a precursor to the play-offs, you never know.  As i look at our Aggie schedule i see that we can make just four of the remaining regular season games.  Where did those four months go???  Del Val is coming together nicely without our ROY, who will be back in November.  We now start three excellent freshmen, a sophomore, & a junior who all are playing better & better with each other.  We actually have a very reliable bench -darn nice to have after several seasons of a short one.  Don't you just live from game day to game day?  GO AGGIES!!!

It as a good win Kate.. It is hard to take that Conference play-offs start at the end of the month.

Thank heavens the guys exacted some revenge tonight beating FDU by the same score the Lady Aggies lost with 68/61.  It was a heart breaking loss since the Aggies were ahead  until the five minute mark of the second half.  Gotta hand it to FDU, Emily Cerankowski & Courtney Young kept at it, tied it, then went ahead.  MAJOR congratulations to Brittney Zimmerman, DVC freshman guard being named to the D3 Hoops.com team of the week!

First, i do hand it to Manhattanville with their live stats & simulated court, but DVC lost another heart-breaker 67/64 - The Valiants can rebound, that's for sure!  i still say that the Aggies have done a herculean job this season without the points of Brittany Battinieri, & playing with three freshmen starters.

Kate:
You missed a good one yesterday in Purchase NY.  Mville attacks the offensive boards as well as anyone.  Del Val needs to learn how to make plays and better decisions in crunch time.  That is what growning pains are all about.  As Bobby Knight says..."the best thing about freshmen...they become sophomores".
The freedom playoff picture is beginning to become more clear.  It looks like the Aggies are going to be on the outside looking in.  It's not for lack of effort or enthusiasm.  Despite the record this is an easy team to root for.  I'm sure you agree.  See you at Eastern on Wed.?

Good morning Tribehoops, it's nice to hear from you -  i was starting to get a bit of b'ball withdrawal, especially since we won't be at the game Wed. (The Blue Route at rush hour is a bit much for my traveling buddy & me).  Needless to say, we hope the team keeps up their spirits, not to mention their shooting  :D, & that the Aggies get the win.  Don't know if Eastern has live stats, but if they do, i'll be following them.  You're very right, they definitely ARE an easy team to root for!

It's always reassuring to read the weekly blog of S.I.D. at Del Val, Matt Levy.  Thanks, Matt for keeping the    web site very up-to-date!  Best luck to both teams tonight with Eastern, & we'll see everyone Saturday for King's!

In a game where every single point counted, DVC won one in OT from Eastern tonight 80/77!  Love you Aggies, but it was heart stopping to follow on live stats.  Erin, WHAT A SHOT  :D

chairman

Unreal shot. Zimmerman was huge in the OT. DVC had three leading scorers fouled out and Kraemer playing with limited mobility in the OT. I've not seen a a buzzer-beater of that length in person.

Chairman:
Thanks for mentioning Brittney Zimmerman.  6-6 from the line in OT after playing 40 minutes and the entire OT period.  I think you saw the match-up, last night, for ROY.  Roland is a very good player for Eastern.  Zimmerman does everything for DVC, all while playing way out of position.  As for Boyer's shot...WOW!
