The Delaware and Lehigh Valleys have lost another well loved sport's broadcaster.  R.I.P. Gary Papa.  Condolences to his family and his WPVI Channel 6, Philadelphia family.

kate

Darn it, last night Wheels started off the broadcast stating that the Atlanta Braves had difficulty scoring runs - well, not that game they didn't  ???  Too many errors, too - come on Phils!

kate

The Fightin Phils are gonna start a huge home win streak tonight  ;D, and while i'm here, Happy Fourth of July to everyone at the site!

As of today, the following MAC teams have schedules posted.  Del Val, Eastern, King's, Misericordia, & Wilkes.  DeSales, FDU (nice new web site - no schedule), & Manhattanville, nothing up yet.  It's probably a little tricky for the Valiants if they're still looking for a coach.  Will the two assistants take over there?  i miss everyone at DVC - hope summer games went well with NO injuries!

TheGrove

kate, have you voted for Victorino for the last all-star spot yet??  ;D

kate

Howdy Grove!  You better believe we voted, & voted, & voted  :D,  well you get the idea - GO Phils!!!  Go Shane!

Good morning, all!  DeSale's, FDU, & Manhattanville all have schedules Up!  The MAC Freedom is complete!  The new Valiant coach seems like she means business - should be a great competitive year.

Hello all!  Haven't been back to the area in sometime but I used to love catching those wilkes/king's and scranton/Kings's games.  Can't wait to see King's this year.  Just wondering does anyone know where Coach Whitten went and anything about this new coach?  I read a few lines about him here and there in the paper but that never tells you about what hes really like, on the floor.  Like whitten was a firecracker, but all the girls seemed to like him!  CAN'T WAIT TILL SEASON.  Following box scores just isn't the same.

Pat Coleman

Just so you know, Bryan Whitten's been gone for a few years now.

Hello Oldretiredfan!  Just got back from vacation, so i can properly respond to your post.  Yes, Pat's right - Coach Whitten has been gone for awhile now, but Pat also told us here in one of the threads (forget which one) that he now is the head coach at Mt. St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Md.

oldretiredfan

Yes Pat I realize that, I just never knew where he went.  I could see how my last post was some what confusing.  Can anyone tell me about this "not so new" guy Brian Donoghue.  Just trying to get back into it I guess.  I must say the campus has changed alot since I was last there!

Good morning!  No Aggie news here, however before all you know what breaks loose with rosters, schedules, etc. i was just thinking about all the players we've seen who are now in the coaching ranks.  Kate Pierangeli Pearson (Scranton) now head Cabrini coach; Crystal Gibson (LVC) head coach at Arcadia; Lorie Khalil (Moravian) coaching at Centenary, Rachel Hartung Emmerthal (DeSale's) at Wilkes, & our own, Alisa DiBonaventura at Widener.  Does anyone know what former King's star & Keystone coach, Carissa Ryan is doing now?  Out of coaching perhaps.  On a completely different note, it nice to see Drew on the FDU schedule!
