Hey, I was only kidding.

Based on the activity on this board, I thought you could've replaced "For those interested" with "Kate."

Based on recent activity on this board that is a very valid point.

WOW, that was a great win for Alvernia last night - dare i say it again, parity in the MAC, both sides.  Nobody, on any given day, for any particular game, can be sure of the outcome.

Great game this afternoon, Aggies, beating a determined Eastern squad 70/67.  Home under the weather, but that victory cheered me up - everyone played  well!

Feeling better this morning here in Easton, & i just  want to congratulate the Aggies for finishing the regular season #3 in the Freedom behind Manhattanville & DeSale's.  A very solid turnaround for them after ending last year's campaign 5-11 in conference, this year concluding the regular season 9-5, and over-all, 17-8.  What's even better, is that everyone on the squad contributed, even if it was in a grueling practice.  i,m a proud DVC fan this morning!  They will take on DeSale's in Center Valley Wednesday night at 6.

Kate: has Coach Hogan asked you to to provide an empassioned plea to the Lady Aggies to give the effort of their young lives against Desales prior to tipoff? Forty minutes of hell Kate...40 minutes of hell! Go get em!

Thanks for the post, Saratoga - actually Coach Richter deserves a good bit of credit for bringing his team from the brink of what could have been disaster in that first half of the season.  When they beat us in Center Valley the other week, he was down to nine dressed players who all played incredibly well, darn it.  Sorry you guys haven't seen Manhattanville - they play very hard as well.  We'll see what happens Wed. night.  As for the Lady Royals, isn't there that saying that it's very hard to beat any team three times in a row.  Saw you had 1,124 or so at the game - great attendance!

Just going to say this once, how great (underestimation) would it be to have a MAC Freedom Championship game at Del Val on Saturday with Misericordia.  Probably have to go through a projected 1 to 2 feet of snow, but would it be worth it!?!

It would be horrible for me,  :)

Listening to the Widener/Messiah game.  Got a little fed up with the ref calling over 40 fouls between both team with 7;30 minutes to go. Messiah up 11.  What are these 2 teams playing football according to the refs. 40 fouls you got to be kidding me let the teams play for gosh sakes. Sorry had to vent.

kate

It'll be DeSale's & Manhattanville Saturday for the MAC Freedom Championship.  As for me, i'll be hunched over the computer to see if Del Val will be awarded an ECAC bid, & if they do, where it will be.

Messiah gets the win over Widener by 15 and will face LV in the finals this Saturady, weather permitting.  Unreal game with 52 PF's called. Are you kidding me? I think there were almost half a dozen offensive charges called. To be fair there were 26 fouls called on each team, so the refs were not bias. :)  I guarantee both coaches, teams and their fans could not have been thrilled with the officiating.

Does the MAC announce their All-Conference teams  soon, if not today?  Mytwocents, some refs probably think that they're rising to the occasion of a post-season game (showing off a little).  Two hugh games for the league on Sat. - your Messiah team vs. Warren's LVC Lady Dutch, & Coach Richter's Lady Bullldogs playing those Manhattanville Valliants in Purchase.  Both games will afford some amazing basketball, i'm sure.

Yes and no on the all-conference question.

Not today, but soon.

Early next week.
The person who says something can't be done shouldn't stand in the way of the one who's doing it.

Thanks, Lefty - i'm crying "Uncle" - we've had MORE than enough snow this winter.  It would be so great to see the 2009-10 Aggies play a couple additional games this season.  Are you listening or watching ECAC Committee?

kate

The teams of Del Val, Widener, Alvernia, Cabrini, & others that are skipping my mind at the moment, are designated at ECAC South.  I was  wondering, however, suppose Scranton doesn't win tomorrow (horrors), LVC goes down, & the CSAC teams of Neumann & GMC   don't make it - who is eligible for the South region teams?  Are there west & north regions?  The Lady Royals will probably get an at-large bid to the NCAA's.  How about Centenary?
