Wilkes University has their schedule up for 2010-11!

Was just in the Marywood University site, and for the first time in years, Del Val is not on their 10-11 schedule.  Was looking forward to seeing Belvidere, NJ player, Marielle Thorsen.  Good luck to Marywood this year, of course to  the Aggies  :), and Happy Memorial Day to everyone at this site.

Kate,
Economic cutback-Marywood is playing the Lady Royals, instead. :)

Weekend going downhill fast - Venus Williams lost in the French Open, Atlanta beat the Pirates, but the worst - the Phils lost 1/0 to the Marlins - sport's psychologist anyone?  The Fightins need HELP!

Back today from a three-day trip to Leesburg, VA, and passed the D3 schools of DeSales, Lebanon Valley, Messiah, Gettysburg, and Hood.  Is Mt. St. Mary's D3 also?   Too tired to check right now.  Anyway, made me even more anxious for Nov.!

Mt St Mary's University in Emmitsburg MD is D-1 (FCS).

Mt St Mary in Newburgh NY is D-III.

The editor's eye...   ;)

Thanks

Pat Coleman

The one in New York is Mount St. Mary, no possessive.

Thanks, Ralph!  Can't believe i didn't remember that our former MAC (King's) Coach, Bryan Whitten is Head Coach at Mt. St. Mary's in Maryland.  Driving by on Route 15, it appears to be a lovely old university.  We are very fortunate here on the east coast to have so many colleges & universities, all within an easy day's drive (of course it makes recruiting a little tough!).

I have a soft spot for Mt. St. Mary's, since they were my second-choice school. It is definitely a beautiful campus.

Before Spring is over, just want to sincerely congratulate the following members of the Aggie team for making the Dean's List this last semester - graduating Senior, Lauren Pisano; Junior, Brittany Battinieri; Sophomores, Stephanie Kramer, Missy Milanese, and Brittney Zimmerman, and Freshman, Emily Soper!  Way to go Ladies!

kate

Dear Stephanie's last name is spelled "Kraemer" - sorry, Steph - again, way to go!!!

As per the front page here at D3 Hoops, i see that Franklin & Marshall & Drew will be needing new coaches.  i still remember when Amherst Coach Gromacki was at Drew before their current coach who just left, & he stayed for just a couple of weeks.  Still miss the Lady Rangers, and certainly best luck with your new coach, whoever he or she might be.  This is really an exciting time here at the post - ya never know who will wind up where.

Very happy to announce that the DVC 2010-11 schedule is posted - now can November 15th get here any sooner!?  That game tonight at Yankee Stadium should be tremendous - GO PHILS!!!  Also, hope they have a safe lead, cause we want to watch Boston wipe the home court with those lousy Lakers!  ;D  Hope to see Jack flick off those sunglasses & wipe a tear

This is so bad tonight, that we're going to watch the President talk about the oil nightmare.  The Phillies are so very sad this season - hope the Celtics do much better!
