The entire Kean mess makes me feel very badly.    As always, it's the most vulnerable who suffer.  As a gigantic D3 fan, i certainly hope that this is investigated, and doesn't prove to be as damaging as first thought.  And, more going forward, Messiah has the 11/12 schedule on their site.   Long live Division 3 Athletics!

Agree, for sure, this Kean mess is bad news. Unfortunately,  there may be more truth than fiction to these alegations.

Here's a toast to all the coaches, ADs, and school officials who play by the rules and "in your face" to those who don't.

Well, upon looking at the MAC page this morning, i see that former DVC player and Centenary College Coach, Lorie Khalil, had been named head coach at Arcadia University.   Congratulations, Lorie!

Arcadia University now has 11/12 schedule on the site!

With the temp outside approaching 100 degrees, it's fun to sit in a nice air-conditioned living room, and web site hop through our MAC l6.   Saw that DeSales has their 11/12 schedule posted - they're away from Center Valley for a long stretch in the beginning of the season.

:)  Feeling a bit devilish this am, i just have to post this quote from a MAC account of the new Lycoming Soccer Coach, Doug Stahl - "where he will coach in one of the most tradition-laden conferences in the country".   Amen

It's been quite awhile since i've checked Gwynedd Mercy's web site, but their 11/12 schedule is up and listing Del Val & the University of Scranton for the first game of the GMC Tip-Off Tourney.  The game is being played Friday night Nov. 18 at 6 pm.   Lycoming & the host school play at 8 pm.  Consolation and Championship games are played on Sat. the 19th.

Just read that former Muhlenberg Assistant Coach, Chris Heery, had been named the new Women's Coach at Wilkes University.  Welcome to the MAC Coach Heery!

Talked with Muhlenberg coach Ron Rohn at last week's junior national AAU championship and he mentioned that Wilkes interest in his assistant. Saw someone from Gwynedd-Mercy there also but didn't have chance to ask him about the 4th team in his tipoff tourney; thanks for identifying Lycoming as it, Kate.

August - one great month - athletes back on the campus, new rosters coming on toward the end of the month, & a general excitement knowing that all the schedules will be underway in exactly one month!

kate

Good morning!  Lycoming has their 11/12 schedule up (we'll get to see them play at the GMC Opening Tourney).  Also Widener's new season schedule is here!  Best luck to Coach Alisa and her Widener Pride this season!

On this warm, very muggy day, FDU has posted their 11/12 schedule.   Now, as i remember, just Elizabethtown and Lebanon Valley have yet to get them on here.   LebVal, however, has posted the men's schedule.   Three months from Monday is Del Val's first regularly scheduled game with St. Mary's of Maryland - hope these three months go as fast as the last three!

Computer is going haywire on this beautiful morning here in Easton.  Happy to see that Lebanon Valley has joined the ranks of 11/12 schedule up, now just Albright & Elizabethtown remain with no 11/12 schedules posted.  In a previous post i had forgotten Albright (totally unintentional).   In S.I.D., Matt Levy's blog, read that the athletes will be back on campus as early as this weekend.   Hope everyone had a Great summer, and is as anxious for the start of fall & winter sports as we are!   GO AGGIES!!!

Kate, I may be wrong but I don't remember a year when this many MAC schools posted their season schedule this early. Perhaps in some way you put  "unintentional" presssure on them to do so ??  Ha !  In any case, I'm glad we can now post the games on our personal calendars...It's never too early to get the season buz in motion.

Hope the summer has been a good one for you. I'm still looking forward to another Philly - Yankee World Series as the hoops season will officially start right after it
