Another congrats to the Lady Devils...Although it's always a team effort, Kyra D. and Leigh-Ann L are making a great 1-2 punch...

FDU won big tonight - by 50 or so, against a very overmatched College of St. Elizabeth team. Drew is next on Wednesday...

Ref. FDU.....What I like best in the lopsided win last night was their 17 assists. The last time they played an out-matched team, they won by 40 but only dished  7 assists....Seems like the mentality of their play is changing in many positive ways..

So after beating both Kings and DeSales, does this mean the Devils have finally reached the status of  "THE TEAM TO BEAT"  in the Freedom Conference  ?

Hi Sp0rtsfan!  For right now, i'll buy that!  :)!   Last Sat. DelVal lost to Eastern by just three points, but last night, our exMACite, Moravian beat the Eagles handily - don't recall the exact score.  The MAC needs some teams right now that will scare the devil out of our out-of-league opponents.  Get all of us ready for January's league play.  Nice to see FDU filling that role - would rather it be the Aggies, but just happy that one of our teams is stepping up to the challenge.

You can throw Wilkes into the mix, also, after thir play tonite in beating Scranton. Elena Stambone looks like a good player and they seemed to be well-coached as a team. 1st victory over Royals in 35 years.

Congrats to both FDU on their resurgence & Wilkes in their win tonight over Scranton.
The Lady Royals out coached yet again...Wilkes essentially playing 4 players on Scranton's two bigs & one on the ball.
Until Scranton can develop an outside game & hit their shots from the wings, every team will simply pack it in & let the other three on the floor dictate the outcome.
Absolutely horrible defense...they look like they've never played together.
Can't switch, don't know how to set screens, way too much solo ball handling, offensive spacing is non-existent, an all around horrible game.
That said, I give all the credit in the world to the Wilkes game plan...it was the only chance they had to neutralize Scranton's decided advantage & they executed about as well as their talent would let them.
Just a rather scary piece of info...if Scranton's big two transfers were not there, the point total from Strong's recruited class tonight totaled a whopping 21 points!

Nice job again tonight for the Devils - boy, can they run....

Saratoga, you haven't lost your way with words  ::),  talk about back-handed compliments - whew!    Just happy that our MAC Freedom doesn't have predictability - we appear to be a shook up league this season.  My computer is going crazy this morning, so bear with any strange symbols popping up.  Where's CJ in all this - congratulations Lady Colonels!  Real nice win!

....FDU 6 -1, with wins over DeSales & Kings.... Wilkes 5 -2 and a win over the Royals !!  There's a Global Warming effect in the MAC this season.....And yes, once again, shooting DOES count..

Devils went to 7-1 this weekend...big test tomorrow at NJ City. It appears the gothic knights have some talent but have been inconsistent thus far - but they had a huge win over Kean, so this one should be interesting! That will do it until the Christmas Break....

Congratulations to Coach Miller and Staff of the Messiah Falcons on their 500 coaching victory.

Is Messiah's Katelyn Vanderhoff injured again? I see she's only played in 3 games this season.

mytwocents

Ronk,

I believe Ms. Vanderhoff is injured but I do not know to what extent. Hopefully a Messiah faithfull with up to date information could share more on her status.

Thank You

ronk

 Thanks,
I remember her being in and out a couple of times in an injury-plagued season last year; best wishes for a quick and complete recovery. Messiah has a chance to go far with her in good health.

FDU finished the first part of the season strong with a 30+ point win over NJ City. Let's hope the long break doesn't cut into the momentum!
