Three MAC teams in the top 25 - gotta love it!  Congrats to FDU!!!

Go FDU ! ....Stay the course ! ....

Uggh - by the looks of the score, FDU had a tough one today. Did not see the game, so I can't say what happened...

how often this type of thing happens ... they win and win and win and win, until they get national attention.  then they get whupped.  basketball sure is an unpredictable animal.

Of course all our MAC games are huge, but a big double header is coming on Wednesday night with King's.  The Women's game starts at 6, the Men's game tips off at 8, both at James Work Memorial Gym on the Del Val campus in Doylestown.  Let's pack the house to the rafters and MAKE SOME NOISE!!!  Go Aggies!!!

Seems like FDU ran into a buzz-saw....Based on just stats alone, it was season high in TOs for the Devils; also, a big disparity in trips to the stripe; home court for the Monarchs; and FDU's 3 point shooting over the last 2 games is only 6/39, or 15%.... Perhaps there were adjustments made by King's coach since their earlier meeting ?

Wished the game could have had a different outcome (we played hard, but lost in the last couple of minutes, 61/54 to King's), but we were super proud of the Del Val atmosphere at the game.   The new ram mascot was unveiled, the cheerleaders were participating in the Women's game (they usually don't), they did face painting for a ton of children before the game, & they all came in wearing their ram hats, and last, Del Val had about 100 or more kids who did fantastic jump rope routines during the half.   Forgot to mention that the cheerleaders were tossing Aggies garb into the stands during every time out.  Just a cool atmosphere -  Aggie pride!

Misericordia vs. Del Val has been pushed back to 3:00.

Tomorrow night - Senior night for Del Val's two magnificent Seniors, Amanda Turowski and Emily Soper.   Our game is with Manhattanville.   Once again, i would ask for the gym to be packed and loud, and that we give these two great Aggie players a special send-off!   Thanks for the memories to both of them.   We will never forget you.

A HUGE Commonwealth match-up begins in less than an hour.  Messiah (15-1) has to go to Widener (14-2), and in this situation I would never bet against Coach Alisa.  She always has her teams prepared for the really big games, and she has done well vs. the Falcons -- kind of a thorn in their side.  This game could be knock-down, drag-out battle that will go far in determining seeds in next week's conference tournament.

Not a surprise.  Overtime.  Widener 75.  Messiah 69.

The Commonwealth tournament will be a toss-up.

Ya gotta love it, major congrats to Coach Kintner and to her Widener Pride - must have been one heck of a game.

Three months ago today, Hubby & i were on the beautiful campus of McDaniel College in Westminster, MD for the Del Val opening tourney.  Where did those three months go???   This afternoon our Aggies play their final game of the season with FDU - the drive to Madison is a little hairy for us, so we'll watch on the Devil's video.  Good luck Aggies, and we're already looking forward to the start of the 2013/14 season.

Aggies 69/FDU 67 - Congratulations, Aggies
