By the way... the entire team pretty much returns... I was talking to many about how they could be a factor in the conference and certainly the Atlantic Region... fun to watch how next year progresses. #33 (sorry, forgot her name) could be a really, really good player - was impressed with her ball handling skills to be sure.

They certainly match up well with FDU....but luckily almost our entire team is returning too  :)

Here's hoping we play well tonight, and for a healthy finish for all here this evening!

I am stunned. Messiah totally dominates Randolph-Macon, wins by 29.  Hopefully they can keep it going.  Congrats Falcons on your best effort of the season.  It was an entire team effort and a pleasure to watch. Should be a very interesting test for FDU (would be shocked if they are not in the final).

Again Falcons one heck of a game.

The final? :)
That's very flattering...maybe you meant "would not be shocked if they were in the final"...

Anyhow - As stated, Messiah looked awesome. Very, very impressive.

FDU shook off the rust early...and then rolled to a 106-45 victory over Wells. Nice crowd tonight for the second game! I expect a very tough game tomorrow at 5:00...

So unfortunate that our two MAC teams have to meet so early in the tourney.  I truly admire both, so may the better team win!

Congratulations to FDU & all their fans!  Messiah gave them a heck of a game, but the Lady Devils prevailed!

bill

Hard fought game...Messiah very talented! Great job by our ladies. 79-66

On to the sweet 16....best season in school history continues. We put in to host the next round...we'll see if we get the chance!

Congratulations to FDU on a well earned victory over Messiah.   The Falcons gave them a run but FDU IMHO won the game with a 7-0 run to tie it at halftime. The Falcons had them on the ropes but just could not maintain their momentum due to a monster game from  FDU sophomore Shalette Brown.   Thank you Messiah seniors for an excellent season.  Best of luck to FDU in the tournament.

bill

Agreed on the run...

Other key for FDU was  making the foul shots down the stretch. Messiah just wouldn't give up - right as it looked like FDU would go up by more than 10, Messiah would bounce back. Great game, and as always with Messiah, nice scene at half court when the game ended.

bill

Love the hype for this upcoming round.....Really looking forward to it !

bill

Me too...tough thing for us is Spring Break starts Saturday. Have to convince students to stick around, which could be tough!

Teams starting to roll into Madison...

Baldwin Wallace on the court now for their practice!

Should be a great night for basketball tomorrow.

I'll be in town tomorrow and Saturday for the event. Stop by to say hello if you're so inclined. I'm the balding, pale guy with the red goatee who talks throughout the games.
