Hello Sportsfan!  Leigh-Ann attended Easton's own Notre Dame HS, and I'm sure they prepared her very well to show genuine humility!  I'll bet she'd trade massive playing time any day to be able to play on the No. 1 team in the country!!!  Looking forward to the 21st when your Devils play our Aggies!  Happy New Year to you too and to everyone here at the site.

I had a chance to see the Lady Royals play last night and starting to think about a Devils vs Royals contest. My sense is that speed and tenacious D would prevail over size and finesse. The edge goes to FDU.

You might be right; tenacious D makes it easier to score in transition, also. There's a good possibility that matchup will occur in the NCAAs.

From your lips to God's ears  :) Any meeting with Scranton should be past the first round - I'll sign for that much success again right now. Taking nothing for granted!

Devils had another big win tonight - should be a tough matchup with Eastern next...

Eastern will be a good test; their 2 bigs are very good and good.

Amazing !  A 19 - 20 game for S. Brown with 13 offensive board + 3 steals !  Eastern's guards may not be able to get the ball into the bigs. As always, FDU should score a ton on transition points. Then again, the Devils may not keep be able to keep that chip on their shoulder forever. I just don't think next Wednesday, in Madison, will be the game they lose their mojo.

Well, it seemed like a nice win tonight for the Devils. I wasn't able to stay for the game, so no details forthcoming !

Yes, impressive-just scanned the play-by-play, but didn't view the game. Thought Eastern would give them a tougher game.

A quick shout out to the S.I.D. for Manhattanville - he had a very good write-up for the Valiant/Aggie game played last night.  Much appreciated - thank you!

Congratulations to Wilkes this afternoon beating Moravian 70/64 (not positive on that score).  Nice win for our MAC Team after a tough loss yesterday.

Congratulations to Del Val's Junior point guard hitting the big 1,000 point mark yesterday in our win over Wilkes - Way to go Eireann Anastasi!

Kate, based on the score, the Aggies put up a great fight last night against FDU. Were you there ? Any details ? Turning points of the game ?   Thanks !

Hello Sp0rtsfan!  We were not there - 611 was probably a skating rink by the time we would be coming home!  I have the box score and the write-up in front of me!  First kudos to the Devils and their coach!  He and they achieved the max playing without Rachel Groom.  He used all 10 of his players.  We fought hard - half time score 31/30 and had two 7-point leads, but you guys prevailed.  I'd like to think DeSales an us made sure that you were tough enough to go through whatever comes your way ;)!  Never a dull moment :)!

Kate, as always, you're humble in victory and gracious in defeat. Glad you didn't risk the slick road conditions.

Wow- sounds like an NBA western conference game circa 1989 broke out at manhattanville tonight... Almost 200 points of offense!!
