I am very happy that Scranton will be hosting the first 2 rounds, I am curious if anyone has seen Lehman play before? I checked out their website but it is difficult to get a feel other than perusing their schedule?

Also--any news yet about the ECAC? It would be nice to see some Mac teams get a chance to keep playing

Roy_a,

There are some ECAC games listed on the scoreboard for the 28th. No MAC teams.

TC: I'll take this opportunity to wish you & your ladies all the best in the Big Apple. I'm doing it on the MAC site because going into the PAC site is like entering the Dead Zone. A 5:00 game in the Village...have fun getting there if you're driving with friends...and don't forget the extra cash for parking within about 10 blocks of the Cole Center. It will be a good atmosphere on Friday for your game with Ithaca(which you should win)...but, on Sat. evening vs. NYU...it will be electric. Tell Tony he'll need to take 500mg. of Vallium to remain calm...cause if he runs his mouth too much they may find him 5 years from now under the south end zone at Giants Stadium. Have a safe trip & enjoy!

TC HOOPS

Saratoga: Too funny, I'll give TONY the message, but he don't have to worry about being in New York, trust me. So I am taking it NYU gets a big crowd? GOODLUCK to your girls too, we will meet up with you in the FINALS. Hey wishful thinking. I'll be HAPPY to get out of NY still alive. And your right how SAD is that PAC sight? That's because we have won 36 straight so no one has anything to say. And thanks again, hope you guys win!!!!

Does U of S have any times yet for their weekend games?  We're planning ahead & depending on weather, might make the trip to the Long Center.  i really need to get rid of all the negative feelings from Feb. 10, & this would give us the perfect opportunity to root big time for the Lady Royals.  Hopefully the Sat. game would be in the afternoon - it's a long cold drive back down 380 & 80 after 9 P.M.  GO MAC, Scranton & Messiah!

Kate---Fri  5:00 pm for the first game between Mt St Marys and Hamilton and 7:00pm for Scranton-Lehaman. The winners willl meet at 7:00Pm on Sat.

If the higher seeds win on Fri--SCR-MSM--Sat can be interesting as MSM beat SCR by 20 earlier in the year....We are playing much better now so I do not expect a similiar result. But, I suppose we need to get thru Lehman first...

Come on up anyway as the weather Fri is precipitation but high in the upper 40s

King's, Albright and Moravian are all in the ECAC South championships . . . Drew is in the ECAC Metro tournament.

More details on the ECAC website at the following link:

I'm a Moravian fan.  Let's go Hounds!

Roy_a,
For the recap of Lehman's win in its conference championship with Baruch, check the Notables selection on the d3hoops home page and Title Time section under that, then click on Lehman....;nobody scored in final 4:36.

I hear Scranton will probably have a new boss pacing the sidelines next season. After two poor consecutive recruiting classes and the loss of several key players from this years team. word has Mike Strong contimplating retirement.
Fear not, former King's head coach and current Virginia Commonwealth assistant, Bryan Whitten, is highly interested in taking over and wanting to relocate back to the area.
Stay tuned.

Very interesting post from Cold Case, IF it would come to pass, i'm relatively sure that Coach Whitten would be scheduling DVC, as i always saw a very nice healthly relationship between the two coaches.  Second, it would be great to see the Lady Royals representing the MAC & beating Bowdoin.  Very sadly we can't make the game Saturday night, but i'll be glued to this computer.

Bryan Whitten

Cold Case,
Thanks for the support, but I don't know where you got your info from.  I just want to make it clear that this rumor is NOT true.  I hope this ends this little rumor before it gets started.  Thanks and good luck to Scranton, Messiah, King's, and the other MAC teams in post-season play.

I guess I wasn't supposed to post it just yet?

I can't see Coach Whit ever making such a "Landmark" decision.   Beside, I know Coach Whit can't take the stench of the Lackawanna River and being the avid fisherman he is, he detests two-headed trout.

WOW, stuff on this site travels FAST!  Guess everyone has to be super careful of what they're posting - GO MAC!
