Tyler Johnson gave my junior son a tour of SJU this summer. Bright kid and very easy to root for. I hope the move helps him and the team.

While we're on the subject of SJU, I'd sure like to see a list of the freshman "recruits" who are enrolled and ready to go when things get rolling.  Did I miss that somewhere along the line?

Texas Ole

I didn't think much of the move from TE to O-Line originally.  Lots of guys switch positions between HS and college.  Others will switch in the middle of their college careers based on need or skill set.  I then thought of Wade Smith who had a 10 year NFL career.  He was a TE in high school that was not known to be big especially when compared to other offensive linemen in high school.  He got to to college and kept growing.  Some guys grow later naturally while others grow in college due to improved nutrition and workout plans.

What is impressive is the D3 to NFL jump especially on the line.  Certain skill guys can get lost on teams.  It is usually pretty hard to miss the guys on the line.

I haven't seen anything.  A few twitter posts earlier in the year.  That's about it.  No usual article from Frank as far as I'm aware.

Well, apparently Bartch getting knocked on his backside and getting beat a few times, particularly early in the game, means he won't be starting this week.  It looks like he may be platooning with the backup centre who will start at guard.  Still, he's progressing.  Fingers crossed.

Well, it doesn't look like Bartch's first start went well for him as he was pulled in the second quarter after having a pretty challenging time on the line.  A lot of hard work and resilience required.  Good luck because he'll need to dig deep when the social media vipers come out for his bad game on the worst team in the league.

Maybe cook him up some rally popcorn, 57.

EDIT: Must have been a good batch, 57, because he's back in there and blocked well on the Jag's second TD.  Let's go Ben!

I didn't think he started, altho the announcers said he was.  Didn't look to me like he was out there to start.  He was rotating with the other guy, they both seemed to play a couple consecutive series then the other guy rotated in.  He was out there for both JVille TD's I think.  He did get dumped on his arse tho on one play, bull rush, looked pretty bad.

Ah, I'm just following random posts on twitter and not watching the game.  So that's good to see.

I just had a look at the highlights on youtube and Bartch did a fine job.  He's a good team player.  That's the last time I look for my tips on twitter.

After 111 days of lockdown where Melbournites have only been allowed to leave their home for 1 or now 2 hours day for four approved reasons (food, permitted work, healthcare or caring for others) we are free at midnight tonight.  Can leave our house for as long as we like for any reason.  But still cannot leave the metro area - police block all roads into and out of the area and only permitted travelers may pass.

The total number of active CV in the entire state of 6.7 million people?  87.  Yes, 87 cases in the entire state and now the cordon loosens a little.  Retail shops and restaurants (10 people total inside, including staff - so nothing is opening) open on Wednesday.  Total deaths?  807.  Since March.  Average age?  88.

So this is hell.  What a disgrace.
