Best player that SJU faced in 2019. Would love to watch him play again...just not against SJU

I hope he comes back to possibly make one more run with AU in the 2021 Playoffs, but I haven't heard anything either way. My gut tells me Coach Beebe will be able to sway him to stay another year . . . or maybe it's just wishful thinking haha

I'd heard this a while back and kept my mouth shut, but I saw it tweeted today that ex-Minnetonka QB Aaron Syverson will transfer (or has transferred) from Colorado State to St. John's.

On one hand, I feel for those guys that have put in several years on the team.  On the other hand, it's always nice to have a highly touted QB.  Let the QB competition ensue.

On one hand, I feel for those guys that have put in several years on the team.  On the other hand, it's always nice to have a highly touted QB.  Let the QB competition ensue.

He was a red-shirt in 2020 so that gives him three more years of eligibility?  Four with the covid rules?  I don't know how any of that is working anymore.
Let's hope he's a good 'un.

He would then need to sit a year going D1 to D1, not so when going D1 to D3, so there is that......

Not with the new Transfer portal, as I understand it anyway. He'd be eligible to play right away. (Not that this is likely to happen anyway)

We'll have to see how this plays out.

Right on...we tried watching the Irish hurling championship through this platform this past fall and the GAA.go app blocked it. Wonder if SJU and stretch will be able to do some. It would be nice when i can make it to a game to be able to interact live w friends!
