Here is Madalyn Bailey from tiny Boyceville WI, just outside of Menomonie. She's involved with America's Got Talent and has quite a YouTube following.

Enjoy!

The additions of MAC and CSS help the conference in multiple areas.  First of all restores Mac to a conference member in all sports which is beneficial for them and for travel.  I get Mac isn't going to win much in football, but it is nice having them as part of the conference.  They probably hold the MIAC together in the long term.  There are a few people in the St. Olaf administration that wanted St. Olaf to return to the Midwest Conference, and I would venture to guess Carleton was also looking.  With travel costs down it probably made some sense to join the Midwest Conference.  I think the addition of CSS was more about hockey and balance in sports than anything.  The MIAC was at 9 football schools which isn't a terrible number unless you divide in to divisions.  I think divisions within in the conference might be coming especially for women's sports.  As for hockey with UST leaving the MIAC was down to 8 teams.  If a school fails, drops hockey, or leaves for a greener pasture then that puts the MIAC in a tough position with hockey.  Who knows maybe the MIAC will bring back skiing.  The only D3 schools in the Midwest that sponsor it at the NCAA level are in the MIAC.

Apologies if this has already been talked about but it looks like Bethel's longtime OC Greg Peterson left to become their new AD this past Spring. Any news on who the new OC is? Haven't been able to find anything.

Pretty weird to watch the 2nd game of a Twins double header and after the 7th inning the announcer says " we are headed to extra innings. "

I'm  like  ???  Then like Oh yeah.

7-inning DHs are a pretty new innovation.  I think it goes with 'give every kid a participation ribbon' mentality.  Professional athletes can't handle traditional schedules??!! ::)

BTW, loved it that my man "over the hill" Miggy (admittedly, he is) drove in the walk-off run. ;D

The miracle liquid comes through again.  This time saving lives one bottle at a time.

Rancher pinned under ATV for two days survived on water, beer

Quote
A Wyoming rancher was pinned under an ATV for two days after a rollover crash — and survived the ordeal by drinking bottled water and beer...

The badly bruised rancher was able to access water and Keystone Light from his cooler, until concerned friends and family organized a search for him Monday, and found him a day later, the report said.

Cabrera has always been worth the price of admission no matter how the Tigers are doing. Byron Buxton on the other hand has never played in over 100 games in a season. He's been so fragile. Twins will probably screw up and lock him down for major coin fearing he could end up like David Ortiz and make them look bad.

Hey Twins, trade him for some good young pitching. Your pitchers are so bad they beaned 2 Tigers yesterday, one in the head, and weren't even trying to.

But no, they will screw this up. Kirby Puckett, we miss you.

Did any other SJU season ticket holders get an email yesterday from Marilyn on e-Tickets?
