In the new setup, is the MIAC Championship Game winner the automatic playoff entrant for the MIAC? Example- SJU & BU end up playing each other in Championship game and BU defeats SJU, will BU get to auto-bid?
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

That's a great question & would be my assumption! If so, will put all the more importance on winning the conference championship game! After trailing 28-7 at the half, UMHB has scored 3 TDs to get back to even with Hardin-Simmons in the 3rd. Clearly the momentum is with UMHB. I'd like to see Hardin-Simmons get enough going to pull off the upset!

Hardin-Simmons scored no second-half points while UMHB was able to score 27 unanswered to get the win. Can't think of a worse way to lose!

MIAC love from Reusse. Love all the shade thrown in the direction of Summit and Cretin.  Also great recognition for Ravi Alston

We are looking like a team with 54 freshman..
Each of us must hope you are a strong team this year, better for both programs after that first game. Good luck this year and welcome to a very good conference.

Yes.
I'm learning a lot about The Northwoods and Skyline divisions of the MIAC. If I'm reading this right, the Skyline teams host during Championship Week.

Let me know if I'm understanding this correctly. If so, the potential Skyline division champion could loose to multiple Northwoods opponents during the season yet still host the championship game. That seems odd.

Yes, that's what I read, as well.  Sucks to go on the road if you've earned home field advantage.

Nice nod to Alston. I thought his not being on the 1st AA Team was a mistake.

I had a short chat with his mother at the UWW Semi Final in 2019. Seems like a sweet lady. She didn't like the cold however. I told her that;s why I head out to her neck of the woods for a few weeks in winter.

That's total BS...a team could go  7-0 and them play on the road for a championship. Baloney

Did the Cobbers really throw 40 w/ 22 completions and 275 yards yesterday?

Yeah, totally agree.  Obviously it could favor BU this year, if they take care of business, but it shouldn't.  Hopefully they fix that at some point.

Among the many impressive deeds yesterday, apparently there is a camera so simple (cell phone) that even Reusse can use it. That was a nice shot of Ravi with his mom and gf. Kid looks like he's a solid leader.

Three games in, I like where this team is headed, but Cobs and Gusties look like extremely tough outs. Like the QB a lot. The new-ish o-line has done well and on the few times when it hasn't, Syvertson's mobility has really shown. If there'd been two fewer drops each game, he'd be looking at three straight 300-yard games.

It makes too much sense for the MIAC to hold the championship at a neutral site in the Twin Cities. So they probably won't.
