Duff, I live in Northfield and have an SJU Football license plate frame on the wifes car and wear my sju pull over and sweatshirts to the gym...I get some really nice looks...  ;D
If you venture to St. Peter next week for the game, seek out the SJU Johnnies tent tailgating. The more the merrier  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

CSB/SJU's current standings in MIAC fall sports:
Mens's ⚽️ 6th
Women's ⚽️ 3rd
Women's 🏐 tied for 6th
Men's X 🏃‍♂️ 9th in regional rankings
Women's X 🏃‍♀️ 7th in regional rankings
🏈 1st

So yes i guess CSB/SJU deserves to be kicked out.

There's an old proverb about chickens that I can't quite remember...

Fully prepared to hear you pump up a Gustavus team that just played a close game against Hamline as a real test for SJU.

Fast forward to the following week when you'll say that CSS has nothing to lose and is extremely dangerous to SJU.

;D
I expected more from GAC yesterday. Wondering if the players were looking a little past the the Pipers?
Their young qb isn't afraid to tuck the ball and run when the pocket breaks down. SJU will get pressure on him but will we be able to corral him? I think he ran for almost 150 yesterday.

From Logan Hansen:

"WTAF is the QB situation at Gustavus? Veldman goes down, Breitbach comes in. Next game, Breitbach doesn't throw a pass, Loberg plays the whole game. Next game, Breitbach starts, three players throw a pass, none by Loberg. Today Loberg starts again, no passes by Breitbach. #d3fb"

??? Breitbach started today.

Hansen appears to be mistaken.  Breitbach has started every game since Veldman was injured.  And has been the leading or exclusive GAC passer.

And Loberg plays defense...also wears #14

Yup. Thanks for the factcheck, guys. Should have checked it out myself. Must be a rare blip from the normally spot-on Iowegian ... although he is a Region 5 guy now. ;D

When the box score was uploaded, whichever school did it ignored the prompt to make sure they selected the proper 14, so that's the source of the confusion. It confused me as well.

@Tommie fans;

Are the Toms playing with essentially their same squad as the last time they played MIAC or has it been refilled?  Also, are the coaches the same or have they been turned over?

I'm curious to know if the Toms are competitive with essentially their D3 program or if they have had a big uplift since they left the MIAC.

Mostly the same squad and I believe all the same coaches.  This is effectively a D3 team, with some D1 freshman sprinkled in here and there.  Jam can fill in more for sure.
