miacmaniac, I did talk to our resident MAC expert this week and he says that things will be improving soon for the football program. Evidently the administration is behind the program and they had a good recruiting year.

Invitations have been sent out to the following persons for the Stiftungsfestivities on September 9 in honor of the media: Frank the Tank, Charley Walters, Bob Sansevere (he will be out of town that weekend), Mike Max and Terri Traen. I will be working on getting a few more invitations out. Terri will be at the Carver County Fair tonight so I will see where she is at.

Chaska made it to state in town team baseball! Tourney starts next weekend in Dead Wing and Miesville. Whoa Nelly will be hosting a party for all the Chaska fans. ;)

JR, how about Soucheray, Ruesse, Sid and the Pioneer Press and Strib MIAC beat writers??  I'm willing to help contact the PP side if you would like.

Duffman, I will keep that in mind. Another excellent option is to head over to Pepin, Wisconsin and have dinner at the Harbor View. One of the best restaurants in the upper midwest, even if it is in Wisconsin. :P Only about a half hour away from Dead Wing. Very scenic area.

So why is my karma dropping so much? Is the hatred from the Bethel and Auggie Tech fans coming home to roost? :-\

Johnnie Red

ROR, if you could contact the persons at the Pioneer Press for me, that would be great. It would be nice to get Pat Ruesse and Joe Soucheray to do their Saturday morning sports show from Collegeville that day. My email to Charley Walters came back, so you can also contact him. I will take care of Patrick, Sid and the other persons at the Star Trombone. Thanks for your help.

JR, I'm all over it.

I also bumped your karma.

Duff-  Never been to Khan's, but there's no bread served at Mongo's.  You get your choice of soups (I can't remember what kind, but I know they're good!) or a salad.  But the food is excellent-although seeing as how I kinda shared in the chef duties, it could be just my influence...   ;D
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

The tourney is in Miesville?  Sweet, then you can stop for dinner at Wiederholtz's Supper Club ;D

Duff-- youve been to Wiederholz's? The food there is AWESOME

of course, considering the town's name, how could anything there be less than awesome? ;D

I think the other option considered when they named the town was Miesstake.   ;)

While I know John has a lot of respect for the "Raiders" I'm sure he would not want to feature them is this 2006 video.

Once only per decade please.

Thank you.

Khans, in my opinion is nasty....their appetizers are freakin' gross (chicken wing and soup)....I'll admit, it is a nice place to go if you are still in college because it is all you can eat, usually.  Anyways, my 2 cents!  You guys should go to the Cheesecake Factory over in Edina, that is a great place!

Mighty Royal

You're messed up, dude.  Cheesecake Factory over Khan's?  Heck no.  I'm not a big fan of the soup there, but the main course is to die for.  If it sucks, it's your own fault because you made it, dork.

It's that time of year again, MIAC schools are beginning fall camp, what are everyone's predictions for the 2006 season. A few things to think; are the Johnnies as good as their 3 ranking, and why are the Cobbs not in the top ten?
