Today's loss to North Central was Mount Union's first since Vince Kehres left the program. They were 17-0 going into today. Mount Union has now lost 31 games going back to 1986. Unbelievable! Whitewater's loss to UMHB is only their 5th loss at home since 2005. The Stagg Bowl airs Friday night at 6:00 PM CST on ESPNU from Canton, OH.

There have been instances of this type that we joke about, but I just read that UWW QB Max Meylor graduated HS in 2015. He will be eligible for Social Security soon.

If I recall correctly, he was thrust into the starting role during the end of the season/playoffs in 2019, so it's not like he's been their starting QB for 4+ years.  Ease up on the bitterness.

It must be spider season.  #3 was having a shower before going to a movie with Mrs Oz and some family friends when she saw this on the girls' bathroom vent...  She got out of the shower very quickly.  The first Navy shower in her lifetime, I think.



It's rare for redbacks to be found indoors.  I reckon the girls leave clothes and towels lying outside for two days as they tan and then drag in the creepy crawlies when they finally clean up.

Speaking of Navy, while monitoring the D3football.com scoreboard all day I watched the Army-Navy game. From pregame through post
game it was very inspiring and entertaining. What a win by Navy!  Great game.

I believe the proper way to deal with that is to "Take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure".

We keep a couple cans of industrial spider spray on hand for just these emergencies.  It curls the hairs in your nose if you breath it by accident.  Strong stuff.  Fortunately, we found this one in the bathroom where it fell to the tiles when dead and didn't get lost in the carpet, making you wonder if it was really dead or not and you end up doing a rain dance across a 10x10 foot area to make sure it's squashed.

When I show the picture to #1 she really freaked.  She had seen the same spider but assumed it was just a regular one so had taken a regular 3-hour shower.   Serves her right.

Lol. I've got a long shower daughter as well. But after about 15 minutes the spousal unit is in there "are you about done?"
